walshfan
Id like to see how well he can perform sure but if he's still doing too much thinking instead of letting his natural abilities take over then he's not rready.. I dont know how ready he is.. Lewis does..
Stripes
No thanks. He's too raw right now, IMO. I think he'd make our current run stopping woes even worse.
SkinneymulleT
Man does he need to learn you to attack down hill. He got trucked in preseason by a smaller back, but I gave him the benifit of the doubt b/c i thought he was just trying not to overun the tackle like he did a few plays before. But he was in on goaline against the stealers and could have stopped slick wily on the 4th and goal, but didnt attack and just kinda stood there in the endzone looking confused. Hopefully he can get in there and get a chance to adjust to the speed, we need him in there with polelock gone and jeanty hurting. landon and caleb are both good in space but to light. Get him in now and he may be a force by the playoffs.
HoosierCat
Do I think he should start? No, he isn't ready yet. But do they need to get him in the game? Yep, yep and yep. He had a few turns on the strong side vs. the Pats and seemed to hold up. And the bottom line is the LB corps needs all the help it can get -- and as fast as possible. derekshank
Simmons is playing too well in the middle right now. I don't want to have a rookie playing MLB again. It was hard enough to endure last year.I want to see him play... but Jeanty should be back healthy after the bye. I'd like to see Brooks play SSLB on passing downs to give us a better pass rush. agreen_112
seriously though, they might as well just stick anyone out there and let them play LB. Can't get much worse than Miller, Johnson, Jeanty, Azzier, or whoever. Put in the Rookie and let him learn the hard way. What happened to Nicholson? ShulaSteakhouse
Jeanty is a better option than Miller IMO.With him and Dex back - that should hopefully get them back playing more like they did early on - not sure if they will be 100% by then though.I would expect "some" changes on defense and on the 0-line as Marvin hinted in his presser. Not impressed with Brooks at all so far - not really seeing anything from him at all yet. Hope he turns it up a notch soon, has been a real disappointment thus far. cincy9275
i wouldn't mind seeing brooks get some more playing time . i also want to see nicholson get some playing time to . johnson and miller are just to small to be run stuffing l/b's johnson is a good cover guy and miller has not really impressed me at all . miller had a lot of tackles but they were 5-7 yards past the line . anyway miller and johnson are both backups at best . Not saying he won't at some point, but for now he's certainly not played above or even at expectations. I sure hope he figures it out soon because they need him. ArmyBengal
Miller can suck it for all I care !!! There was one more word to use in regards what we saw from him against the Pats:"SOFT"WHODEY !!!

But he was in on goaline against the stealers and could have stopped slick wily on the 4thHe was chopped blocked you couldent see it live game but durring the replays. So what if he was. Sounds like an excuse. I watched it over a few x's and his ass never left the endzone in fact he backed up. That's not how you attack and defeat a chop block. That is weak. I thought this was the guy that was going to leap over offensive lineman and make the play in the back field. I hope he becomes that guy when he figures it out. DontPushMe
I voted yes, because if hes starting it means the coaches are confident that hes gotten the system down. From what ive seen so far though, its going to be a while.
