Will this be Brett Farves last game as a Packer?

Recommended Posts

What do you guys think? I feel if Brett's upcoming game against the Saint's is anything close to as bad as the previous one against the Bears was, (15-29 for 170 yards, no TD's and 2 INT's) Green Bay will be forced to make a move, whether he wants to go or not. It's time for the Pack to start rebuilding, and not around an aging, albiet future Hall Of Famer QB.

Honestly, I think he'll step down on his own if it happens again this weekend, and chances are...it will. <_<

I don't think it'll be his last game. The Packers may very well lose, but against a bad Saints defense, I expect Favre to at least play well enough to keep his confidence high. If they haven't held up around .500 by midseason (which they surely won't) then I'd say it'll be time to play Rodgers.

Favre's last year was about 2 years ago and he is doing nothing for his Hall of Fame career and reputation as a QB. I feel pretty good about the Saints beating up on the Pack this weekend, but Favre's ego won't allow him to step aside for Rodgers to come in like he should have done last year. Oh well...

WHODEY !!!

I think GB should just trade him there would be a team willing to give up a 1st day for him and he'd want chance to compete for post season

I dunno Kaz...even a 3rd round pick seems to me to be a bit high for whats left of Mr. Farves services as a QB. Then again you never know. Hell, Dallas picked up the two legged cancer with a big mouth known as "T.O.", so anything is possible. <_<

They have the guy in place, but are so committed to Favre, They're willing to leave it up to him? I can't figure that one out, but maybe in a twisted way, it does keep them from getting their new golden boy ate up by the Lions, Vikings, & Bears---Don't worry, I was'nt going to say it. It might just give them some time to build an offense first. They need linemen, & a strong running back, to take the heat off the kid. With Donald Driver, & Bubba Franks, they have some recieving ability allready.

Oh, eff Favre. He may be the most overhyped, sucked-up-to player in the history of league (tho I think Peyton is giving him a run for that title).

How 'bout a big "WHO DAT" for the Saints instead? 2-0 headed back to the Big Easy for the first time since Katrina? If I had the vacation time I'd buy a Reggie Bush jersey and head south for a week, that town's gonna be NUTS!

Aye it's good to be a saints fan though they are still retarded for giving up stallworth

Didn't help the Iggles today! :o

It wasn't his fault...The Eagles have no power (run the clock) ground game, and they went on shut down after half time.

And Favre is D O N E, done. I think he is just holding back Rogers. He never cared for the guy when the Packers drafted him. Plus, He just can't handle the fact that he is washed up, he is just hoping to be the next plot for a Disney Inspirational Sports Movie. They need to take the DVD copy of The Rookie out of his locker! :lmao:
