Edogger
You know I really like the idea of two football games on Monday night, but is anyone out there (mainly on the East Coast) plan on watching both games? I love the time of the early game, but the second game starts at what time...like 10:30. Man, so that game will last until like what, 2:00am EST. That is just crazy...I am going to try but I don't think I will make it all the way through that one...
ArmyBengal
I don't really care about either of these games, although I am interested in seeing a couple of things...Can Aaron Brooks make himself look any more stupid than he already has ??Can Rivers play the QB position or will he fold ??I will watch a little, but not much...WHODEY !!! For anyone who hasn't seen it, check out Bill Simmons' recent ESPN article, he included a bit about a YouTube video highlighting a bug in the Eurpoean version of Madden 2006. Apparently in Superstar mode, if you don't control the QB, he throws the ball backward 30 yards. Evidently this has been name the "Aaron Brooks bug." Ouch.Am I the only person hoping to see the Chargers get screwed for their mangling of the QB situation the last 3 years? As for actually watching the game...DVRs are wonderful. I watched the Sunday night game this morning in 45 minutes.
BlainThePain
I probably won't watch both all of the way through. I'm rooting for the Chargers, though, but only because that's who I picked for the pick'em contest.
Stripes
I might watch it, to see if ESPN's broadcast backups are any better than the other guys.
ShulaSteakhouse
Sean Taylor sure had an affect on the outcome of this game with his dirty hit penalties. Dumb a$$. I'd be pissed at him if I were a Skins fan. He seems to have just enough questionable/late/helmet-first hits that he's gonna keep killing them, as long as it's tolerated by the league or more importantly, Gibbs. HoosierCat
I was gonna watch both games but it doesn't look like there's much reason to stay up for this "game" between SD and Oakland. Even when SD screws up the Raiders get penalized and give them another chance.
Stripes
Man, I thought the Raiders had a chance in this game. They got steamrolled. If Rivers can run the offense that smoothly (though he'll have to throw more than 11 passes against good teams) then the Chargers will win that division. As expected, ESPN's backup Monday Night crew was far better. Jaws and Vermeil are much better for football insight than Theismann.
Kazkal
Freaking LT cost me my first fantasy football game /crys sense carson diden't score me any pts.
ArmyBengal
My picks were just unbelievably sh*tty for the first week and the Vikings didn't help my cause whatsoever...WHODEY !!!
WhoDey42
I was surprised how good of a commentator Vermiel was. I wouldn't mind listening to him every week on MNF.

I wouldn't mind listening to him every week on MNF.Yeah, I definitely like the No. 2 crew better. Speaking of, was it just me or was Kornheiser suddenly sucking up to Theismann a lot? What, did Joe corner him in the john and threaten to beat his scrawny a$$ to bits if he didn't quit bustin' his balls?

I was really surprised and impressed with the second crew. But I don't know if that was because of the second item. I was really blown away by the way Kornheiser sucked up to Theismann. Disappointing....maybe next week they will be back at each other again.
ShulaSteakhouse
Jaworski = master of the obvious. Theismann just spews the same sort of overtly obvious cliche nonsense I get sick of hearing. The rest don't really bother me at all. I am not that picky about announcers, usually just watch the game and that itself is entertaining enough.
ArmyBengal
Yeah, I never really paid that much attention to what was said by them. Occasionally I'll listen, but for the most part, the game is enough...WHODEY !!!
