what a joke....everybody faces an uphill battle and history is meant to be broken .... like being the first team to be a sixth seed, sweep the table in the playoffs, and win the super bowl....or being the first NFL rookie QB to win his first 12 games in his rookie season.....the Steelers historically start off slow so don't let a lousy pre-season disillusion you bungle fans into thinking that they are getting soft

what a joke....everybody faces an uphill battle and history is meant to be broken ....

And it's always darkest before the dawn and there's a light at the end of tunnel and, of course, no pain no gain. Any more banal cliches?

From the article:

Bill Cowher has already started working his players, trying to recapture their hunger.

It started in the offseason when he said the Steelers weren't the best team in the NFL in 2005, merely the best team at the right time. He has stopped talking to them about the Super Bowl, even recently referring to the event as "that game in February." But even he acknowledges the toughest part about trying to repeat last season is trying to recapture the same chemistry, the same emotion, the same determination that existed when the Steelers became the first team to win every playoff game on the road.

"You have to start all over again," he said.

Yeah, that Cowher. What a joke.

Well im glad you used your second post to give us some of the same Squeeler bulls**t we heard about 1,000,000,000 times. Yeah your right about the histroy part though you did do that and eveybody knows it. And if we were 0-for the pre-season i bet every Squeeler fans from here to Poepunck Pa. would be on here letting us know about it to. But here is a fact that we disillusioned Bengals fan do know. You guys(STEELERS) are not the same team from last year and we arent either. So batten down the hatches cuz your in for a long season and beleive me its going to be a cold winter up there in Pittsburg with no football this year. :D

Maybe if his pep talks don't work, he'll invite the whole team over for a barbeque at his new beach house in North Carolina. I'm pretty sure that's where he gets his tough, blue collar attitude from.

what a joke....everybody faces an uphill battle and history is meant to be broken .... like being the first team to be a sixth seed, sweep the table in the playoffs by wrecking a better team's star QB's knee, and win the super bowl after the refs call possibly the worst officiated game in NFL history...

Fixed. :sure:
