NFL Network not showing Bengals?

I just looked at the guide on my tv(cable), and it looks like NFL Network changed the game tomorrow at 1pm from the Bengals game to the Ravens game.

That f**king sucks! I was looking forward to watching it tomorrow.

Anyone else able to verify this? I hope it's just a glitch on my cable box.

Verified. Several day ago I set my Tivo to record the game at 10AM Saturday, the first available showing I had found. I know things change so I checked the listings to see if the game might be available tonight. It wasn't. I then checked to make sure that the game was still scheduled to be shown on delay Saturday morning. It isn't.

Indeed, the suckage factor is very high.

They're showing it today at 1pm. My Direct TV guide says Eagles Vs Ravens but they said it onthe late total access that we would be at 1pm. .......the Guide is subject to change when they show the preseason games all the time.

Yeah, they won't show the Bengals-Bills game until Tuesday at 12pm.

The NFL Network Schedule shows the Bengals-Bills game at 1PM today and on Tuesday at 12pm but DirecTV shows Eagles Vs Ravens today AND Browns Vs Eagles at that Tuesday time slot.

I have sent an email to the NFL site asking just what is up with the schedules not matching and if they could please tell me when the Bengals game would actually be shown.

I would suggest that you might also want to let them know that you are not happy with the Bengals game being completely bumped off the network.

I sent a second email to the NFL site concerning this, who knows if it will do any good.

I sent you an email yesterday, pointing out that the schedule posted on this site, for preseason games on the NFL Network, did not match with what DirecTV was listing at their site.

The case in point was the 1 PM time slot for Saturday August 19.

While the NFL site was still showing the Bengals-Bills as the game that would be shown in that time slot, and by the way that never changed at your site until after game time, DirecTV was listing that it would be the Eagles-Ravens game that would be shown.

As it turned out it was DirecTV that had the correct listing.

The Bengals-Bills game was indeed bumped in favor of a REPEAT of the Eagles-Ravens game, which had already been shown just the day before.

So I did a search to find out just when the Bengals-Bills game would actually be shown.

What I found is, although the NFL site indicates that the Bengals-Bills game will be shown at 12 PM on Tuesday August 22, according to DirecTV the game has been bumpted yet again in favor of yet another repeat.

According to the DirecTV listing it will be the (WEEK ONE) Eagles-Browns game that will be aired for the FOURTH TIME instead of the Bengals-Bills for the FIRST TIME.

If DirecTV is correct with their listing again this time as they were for the Saturday August 19 time slot, it means that the Bengals-Bills game isn't scheduled to be shown at all.

What the heck is up with that ?

What happened to: "During the NFL's four-week preseason, NFL Network will televise 52 games -- all but the 13 televised nationally by the NFL's four network partners" ?

Every other game is not only being televised they are being replayed twice and more than twice for some games.

Can you tell me, why in the world should the Bengals-Bills game be bumped completely off the Network altogether, while other games are being shown multi-times ?

Thank You

JPW ...

Maybe they only want to show high scoring--- um, maybe they only want games that have exciting turnovers and defensive touch--- well, uh....maybe the NFL Network is run by a bunch of asshats. Yeah, that must be it.

Maybe the guy in charge is some kind of a Big Time Eagles Homer ?

Who knows ...

It's annoying to not even see the Bengals' game higlights on their re-caps!

I think they tend to center on individuals and stars - very ESPNesque - and I guess since Wright and Johnson are playing, and there are no young top 5 picks getting snaps, or FA pick-ups playing, the Bengals' are getting the NFL Network shaft.

I've seen the Saints and Titan (Bush and Young) on constantly.

The most frustrating thing is that the replay of the game is the only chance we out-of-towners have of seeing it. And NFL network promised a replay of each and every non-national game each pre-season week. And they had scheduled to show it. And then pulled the plug at the last minute. It makes absolutely no sense.

I live in New York and had my good buddy who is a Bills fans over. We both jumped on the boards after we discovered the shafting. Bills fans were positing the theory that it happened because the Bills and Bengals were the only two teams not to vote for the CBA, and this was a sort of F-you back from the league. Either that or small market stuff.

It was advertised on NFL Total Access tonight that the Bengals-Bills game will be replayed at 9:00 p.m. 8-22-2006.

I skipped ahead on my "GUIDE" and all it says is Football, TBA- To Be Announced.??

You've already announced when it was supposed to show, bumped it, and then totally hosed the fans waiting to see it again, so if it's going to be advertised on your network, at least let the Guide say.." Bengals - Bills "..??

Let's hope, I got the Tivo set and ready.. :sure:
