Stripes Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 This is just getting stupid.Notice to all law-breaking Bengals players: Being an asshat is the surest way to losing your money. Stop being asshats. Thanks. Quote
walshfan Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Notice to Mike Brown...change the colors of the team stripes to black and white.. its fitting... Quote
ChadJohnson-85 Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Man all we need to do is trade all of our draft picks because ML cant draft anyone with out them getting arrested ! And what's up with Odell? Any updates? Quote
Kazkal Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Life sucks and here we got stiller fans shot up because of holmes now they never will"The charges stem from one incident in early August 2005 that took place at Rucker's Los Angeles apartment."I thought he had no problems sense he was in cali Quote

Stop being asshats. Thanks.Don't blame Rucker - whoever's responsible for drafting him eats this one. He was arrested for what he did *before* he was drafted. Teams knew about this - at least 31 of them did - before the draft. They never should have drafted him. And before anyone brings it up, PFT was knocking this guy before the Bengals took him, saying there were a number of teams who wouldn't draft him in any round.Note to Marvin (or whoeverthehell gave Rucker the go-ahead): Pass on the guy who has already done something that will probably get him arrested and possibly jail time. HoosierCat Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 This is just getting stupid.I would say we are past "getting" and more into "has gotten." What did Willy cally this draft? The Worst Draft Ever? Well, if it isn't, it's sure 'nuff workin' on it. Quote
TJJackson Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Even without these charges, this was a monumentally bad draft choice. This guy could have been had in round 6, 7, or maybe even as a UDFAThe criminal charges are just the icing on the turd-cake Quote

Remember that discussion where people were saying Henderson was about as good as Rucker, and that, as such, they were surprised Henderson wasn't drafted?I guess we were looking at the question backwards. ArmyBengal Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Holy sh*t me to tears !!! What an idiot !!! What the hell is wrong with these f*cking morons ?? I can see their time in college really helped them become smarter individuals...For all you Bengals players in trouble with the law and creating problems within the organization, I have two words for you... F*CK YOU !!! (On a side note, I really like those two words !!!)WHODEY !!! Quote
Riagogogoindanati Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 WTF? I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE. OH, THE BACKLASH................FROSTEE. Quote
kingwilly Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Why does this not surprise me in the least.... <worstdraftever>I hated the Rucker pick the second it happened. Not so much because of his well-discussed off-field issues <worstdraftever> but because he is NOT THAT GOOD. The argument has been that gambling on a pick that has some ? marks is worth the risk when the upside <worstdraftever> is big (a la Henry, even though that is not working out)....in this case the upside is he may turn out to be an average ST player <worstdraftever>, if he can beat the rap.The staff at PBS <worstdraftever> has to be feeling pretty stupid at this point. All of their "gambles" have detonated...what a debacle.Did I mention....<worstdraftever> Quote
Bobcat Bengal Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Notice to Mike Brown...change the colors of the team stripes to black and white.. its fitting...There are actually jerseys for sale that are all black and white.I don't have a picture of them, but they're out there.I saw a Chad Johnson one at Cardboard Heroes. HairOnFire Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Uh oh. This has to be the result of some wierd karma backlash related to how much fun I've recently had making fun of Steeler fans. Karma is indeed a bitch. To appease her I will now purchase a lottery ticket and begin growing a porn star mustache. Quote
sodikart Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 I think this is just some money hungry female that wants to settle out of court. The charges stem from August 2005, if she was serious bout them she would've pursued it earlier. If he wasn't drafted these charges would have never come around. IMO Quote
HairOnFire Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Don't blame Rucker - whoever's responsible for drafting him eats this one. He was arrested for what he did *before* he was drafted. SkinneymulleT Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 This is dumb. Why would the prosecutors office wait until a year later to file simple domestic charges against someone? Because some bitch ass money hungry whore decided that she wants some money so now she will testify against him. The charges will be dropped or reduced after he pays the whore some money and she refuses to testify against him, because without a complaining witness to cross exam the state cannot prosecute. Quote

I still think the whole <worstdraftever> rant is pretty goofy, but I've got to give you props for predicting the character issue would bite 'em. Damn, I can't wait for an actual football game to be played. Quote
walshfan Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Before some of you call the woman a whore or berate her for wanting money out of him please think about it.If he indeed beat her or even put his hands on her in a threatening way I bellieve she has every right to be copensated for his actions..Maybe the next time Ole Frostee decideds to hit a woman he'll think twice about it.Dont forget he was charged with sexual battery while he was at Colorado St. and pleaded to a lesser charge to save his butt.. Quote
TJJackson Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 To sum1) Yes, Frostee is not a good football player2) Yes, Frostee is not a good human being, particularly when relating to the opposite sex Quote
HairOnFire Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Please, the Bengals wouldn't be in this position if Frostee wasn't a good football player, and all of this talk about him being around in the 5th or 6th round or a potential special team player is pretty frickin' stupid. Even a slanted source like ProFootballTalk admits that Rucker has plenty of talent. "Rucker was regarded generally by league insiders as a turd prior to the April 2006 draft, and yet another player with first-round potential who slipped due in large part to off-field concerns." In other news, everybody in jail is innocent, or will tell you so. Especially if they have millions of dollars riding on it.The Bengals *did* know about this before the draft. It was publically reported. And if they listened to his version of events, they're idiots. His lawyer is the only one who has to do that. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 I don't think it has anything to do with the fact she doesn't deserve some type of compensation (If it actually happened), but it's the timing of the thing. Why wait an entire year to address this if you are so overwhelmingly distressed by it. If it has to do with the draft, then she's f*cking stupid as well, because he hasn't been signed to a contract yet. WHODEY !!! Quote
