DC_Bengals_Fan Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 What is it with the AFCN and jailbirds? The Browns need to catch up though. Quote
cincy9275 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 you can get the information in the report tomorrow morning on the Columbus police departments website. that also means he will be sitting in jail until tomorrow because in Columbus you don't get a bond for D/V until you go to court the next day. and you are one of the very last groups to go to court he will be sitting in a holding cell for the next 24-30 hrs . the courts do about up to 150 court cases a day he may not go to court until 1pm tomorrow . i grew up in Columbus and i am familiar with there courts systems. they mixed my name with some other guy and i sat in that same holding cell all day until i went to court with the D/V group. my lawyer got things corrected at the hearing. after i posted my bond they still did not let me out until 2 days after i paid my bond . bengalboomer7 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Maybe, just maybe, this will shut those Squeelers fans up. Something tells me it won't though Quote
Meca Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 WOOT WOOT!This is some of the best news I've heard sence the big ben injurie! Quote
DC_Bengals_Fan Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 So...will Florio be all over this in the same way he was with the Henry stuff?Yep. Also has a link to Ben getting cited for his riding a motorcycle without a helmet and license.Honestly, people, PFT is not a Steeler homer site (he's a Vikes fan, I believe), nor does he hit the Bengals overly hard. He's a lawyer, so he tends to focus more than other sites on criminal proceedings. I believe that Henry happens to be leading the NFL in arrests this year, so he gets the most attention. If some of the Bengal players draw negative attention to the team, don't blame the media, blame the a**h***s getting arrested. walshfan Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Well thats twice inside a month... domestic violence this time...what is in the water down in Florida anyway?Looks like the Steelers have their own version on Henry to deal with... Quote
cincy9275 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Holmes has been charged with domestic violence and assault and also has a open traffic ticket ( bench warrant ). Quote
jjakq27 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Holmes has been charged with domestic violence and assault and also has a open traffic ticket ( bench warrant ). I merged your post with this thread in the NFL forum since this is a Bengals board. After last week, the less I hear about the Steelers, the happier I will be. Quote
Stripes Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 WOOT WOOT!This is some of the best news I've heard sence the big ben injurie! Steeler fan trying to make us and the site look bad? As for Holmes, this better shut that fanbase up about Henry. This is a first round pick we're talking about. Quote
Riagogogoindanati Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 SANTONIO HOLMES SAID:"I GOTTA TRAFFIC TICKET I DIDN'T PAY, SO I NEED TO ROB MY HOMIES HOUSE TO SELL SOME ELECTRONICS TO PAY THE TICKET. NOW I'M SO MAD, I DROVE ALL THE WAY UP TO COLUMBUS OHIO TO SLAP UP MY B*TCH."THIS IS WHAT BERT LOOKED LIKE AFTER HE SLAPPED UP ERNIE. Quote
HairOnFire Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Am I the only doubter who is starting to believe in this crazy karma thing? Think about it. This board was just swamped by crap panted Steeler fans who, among other things, tried to make themselves feel better by writing post after post making fun of Chris Henry. So what happens? Almost immediately a 1st round pick that the Steelers traded up to get is arrested for the 2nd time since being drafted. Hilarious. At least the Bengals had the good sense to wait for Henry to fall to the 3rd round before taking a chance on him. The Steelers moved up for their turd. And even Henry had enough sense to stay out of trouble for a full season before melting down. Holmes has managed to get arrested twice even before signing his first contract. Could he be dumber than Henry? Karma? Yeah, I'm starting to believe. Quote
jjakq27 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Karma? Yeah, I'm starting to believe. Now you've gone and done it. Don't you know that you can't use the "k" word around here? Next thing you know someone will be writing an article that goes, "Some guy with his hair on fire, said that he believes that Steelers fans caused Holmes to smack his girlfriend........" Honestly it does make me wonder sometimes. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted June 19, 2006 Author Report Posted June 19, 2006 Honestly, I would feel bad for the kid seeing as how he went to "The Ohio State University", but he's a Steeler now and it's just amusing... That's right, I said amusing, go ahead and write about that you Pittsburgh asshats !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
Riagogogoindanati Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE HERE?CONTRACTNO CONTRACT Quote
Kazkal Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Lol and their giving us crap for henry...atleast we got 500 yards and 6 TD's out of him before his crap started and we only used 3rd vs their 1st and 3rd lol Quote
Ox Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 At this rate, the month of June will be the single biggest cluster f*ck in Steelers history. Quote
MacD BengalFan Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 I believe that this is the 2nd time in 3 weeks that Holmes has been arrested. Thus, at the current rate, he will be arrested 10 times in the same time it took Henry to get arrested 4 times. So which team potentially has the bigger criminal? Quote
