schweinhart Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 First Mel Kiper and now Mike Mayock have the Bengals taking Jimmy Williams, and Mayock pegged Antonio Cromartie at #20 to the Chiefs. (He also had Whitner to the Bills at #8 and Mangold to the Eagles at #14, saying that's who they wanted and would look to trade down to get). Also, Santonio Holmes was #32 to the Steelers in his NFL Network mock.I'm sticking with Cromartie....And McCargo...And Gocong, etc....
GapControl Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Here is my Top 3 for Marvin:1. Donte Whitner S2. Jimmy Williams CB3. Trade down then pick up Best Dplayer there, maybe Youbouty CB/B. Carpenter OLB/T. Hall DE2nd Round is TE, to please the Browns and Bratowski.Of the options above, I like Whitner since he is the most versatile DB there. I personally would try to gather a later pick if I thought Whitner was dropping and then pick up a nice DT in the 2nd or 3rd. I just wish we could somehow get Watson DT in here.
kingwilly Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Kiwi-or-Cromartie-or-Lawson....one of either Lawson or Cromartie will be there....if we don't get Kiwi (who is 98% of Super Mario!)
NJ29 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 No matter what happens, we need to keep in perspective that we are making an addition to the team, no matter who we get.
TJJackson Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I really like the fact that so many of you have warmed up to Lawson
Tasher Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Option (preference) 1. Trade Down2. Williams CB, VA Tech3. Manny Lawson
