Kazkal
I think he'd be worth it imo as a solid backup for years to come
bengalboomer7
In the third.......NONothing against Omar, I just don't want to have to draft a QB on the first day. The position should be settled by then.
Kazkal
"nods" I woulden't really want too either but seeing the falcons do it and have it payoff I woulden't complain and if I'm not mistaken diden't the bengals interveiw him? Pandre
I am 100% for this because I am up here in Bowling Green and I have seen Omar play a lot. He might not have the strongest arm but he has soom real good vision and makes some smart plays. So we might not have Palmer's arm strength at back up. But Omar is also not going to be a liability in the backfield.Go Falcons......We are going to be real bad up here in NW Ohio this year. ArmyBengal
I'm 100% percent against this, because I have seen our defense play and realize the 3rd round pick could go to much better use knowing the schedule we are facing and the thought of the D keeping us in games without Carson for the first 4 games !!!WHODEY !!! Whur CHad At?
Bengals fans should be nervous and panicing if Omar Jacobs was our backup/starter
Stripes
He's from the MAC, so he can't be all bad. I don't want him in the third, but later that'd be a solid pick. I think he and Betts are the best quarterbacking options in the MAC (the only other NFL prospect I am aware of is Gradkowski).
Whur CHad At?
Just something about Omar scares me, I think he has the wackiest mechanics I have ever seen

ArmyBengal
Gimme McNeil later on or even (dare I say it) the young (yes stupid) Vick at the top of the 7th, after everyone has passed on him. He would represent more potential than any other player left at that point and the upside would be huge, not to mention trade bait in the future... Go ahead and bash the idea, but I call it, keeping thoughts going. What do you think ??WHODEY !!!

TJJackson
Our needs at TE and on the defense dictate that we devote all the early rounds to those.....a developmental QB woud be fine in r7.

The_Next_Big_Thing
Jacobs should go in round 4. If he's there for our pick, heck yeah I take him.
GROIIIDayton
I will take vick in the 7th any day. Vick will give us another option in the offense he will be able to line up at WR from day one. I would love the pick.

I would love the pick. Holy Sh*t me to tears, someone actually agreed with me on that one ??? redsbengalsbucks
I like Marcus Vick's talent, but his character could be a serious liability with the new CBA that does away with loyalty clauses.Maybe in the 7th but no sooner. TJJackson
Please...I'd sooner sign Maurice Clarett than Vick, even as an undrafted free agentOf course, I'd rather remove my own right testicle with a spoon than sign Clarett
Wraith
If we are going to take a QB in the 4th or 5th my vote would be Brodie Croyle of Alabama, i mean, that guy knows how to win and just did everything for that team last year, very impressive character and has a quick release and good velocity on his throws to boot.Personally I'd like to spend either our 6th or first seventh on Josh Betts from Miami (OH) that is another kid who has really impressed me and had some good workout numbers in his pro day. ArmyBengal
Why are people talking about spooning things out of or off of their bodies with such frequency on the board ???Anyway, I don't care for Croyle at all. Don't ask me to give an in depth brief or anything, I just don't like him. Oh yeah, if you base players off the Senior Bowl (like some like to do) then Croyle sucks balls !!!Vick does present a ton of issues !!!WHODEY !!! BengalChamps
I'm not sure philosophically that i want to use any second day pick on a QB. I know that occasionally(Tom Brady) a second day QB makes it big. Let someone else develop him and pay him. I'll use veterans to be my backups. Or maybe get lucky with an undrafted FA. Otherwise, I can use those 2nd day picks to build depth and special teams players.
