Who are your starting DTs????

Do you think Shaun Smith could leap JT and BRob into the starting line-up and start taking more snaps??? Shaun stepped in well last year but obviously needed better conditioning.

Seems Smith and Adams heading the rotation is rather formidable.

How would you rank the DTs?

1) Adams

2) Thornton

3) S. Smith

4) BRob

5) Fanene

?????

Sam Adams and pick #24, how bout that? I'd like to see as little of Thornton as humanly possible.

It won't matter much, the #'s of plays the top four will be close, I hope. Say it's a 70-75 snap game

Sam Adams-35

John Thornton-35

Bryan Robinson-30

Shaun Smith-30

Roughly, with hopefully Smith and Adams never on the field together(minus goaline)

Throw in a few here and there for Fanene, insert draft pick here, and with injuries a teeny bit of Askew.

I don't really think it matters, just as TDB stated, but I think...

Adams / Smith on 1st and 3rd downs (regardless of how far)

JT / B. Rob on 2nd

I think having the big boys up front to take up blockers and free up the LB's will have a huge impact this year. I think Pollack and Odell are going to be set up for nothing but success and owe their pro bowl years to the DT's. Can't believe I'm saying that !!! Can we put pressure on the QB this year will also play a big part of this...

I would also like to see something happen with Askew... Either step up or step out !!! If we draft DT early, then I expect to see them getting some reps as well in the rotation. I'm liking the direction, but I just hope it translates well onto the field !!!

WHODEY !!!

Adams and Shaun Smith -1st down, 2nd down, 3rd and short

Bryan Robinson and John Thornton - 3rd and long

Askew - kicked to the curb

Keep JumpyJr on the perimeter, where he had his best success. No more playing DT on passing downs

pretty much right on ...

I cant see them having Adams and Smith on first coming offf the firld on second and going back on third ..Hell at that rate they'd be more tired than staying out there !!!
