AMC
Do you think Shaun Smith could leap JT and BRob into the starting line-up and start taking more snaps??? Shaun stepped in well last year but obviously needed better conditioning.Seems Smith and Adams heading the rotation is rather formidable. How would you rank the DTs?1) Adams2) Thornton3) S. Smith4) BRob5) Fanene?????

BlainThePain
Askew and Smith. They both break out early in the season. A guy can still dream can't he?

bengalboomer7
It won't matter much, the #'s of plays the top four will be close, I hope. Say it's a 70-75 snap gameSam Adams-35John Thornton-35Bryan Robinson-30Shaun Smith-30Roughly, with hopefully Smith and Adams never on the field together(minus goaline)Throw in a few here and there for Fanene, insert draft pick here, and with injuries a teeny bit of Askew. Kazkal
Aye why waste 2 years of draft picks when we can just move jumpy back too DE rather then a DT on PD
AMC
Never had any idea why they were moving Geathers inside to begin with. Just a numbers game I guess or the all-to-famous "optimizing the talent"???
Stripes
I hated seeing them put Geathers at DT. It didn't make any sense to me. He's already small, and won't be getting much pressure on the quarterback from a position he doesn't even play full time.
ArmyBengal
I don't really think it matters, just as TDB stated, but I think...Adams / Smith on 1st and 3rd downs (regardless of how far)JT / B. Rob on 2ndI think having the big boys up front to take up blockers and free up the LB's will have a huge impact this year. I think Pollack and Odell are going to be set up for nothing but success and owe their pro bowl years to the DT's. Can't believe I'm saying that !!! Can we put pressure on the QB this year will also play a big part of this...I would also like to see something happen with Askew... Either step up or step out !!! If we draft DT early, then I expect to see them getting some reps as well in the rotation. I'm liking the direction, but I just hope it translates well onto the field !!!WHODEY !!! NJ29
I think that Adams and Thornton will start, with lots of rotating.

Spain
S Smith will back up Adams, The real ? is what does the pass rush package look like. I would also be suprised if MR. Inactive is on any team next year.
ArmyBengal
Askew will hang around due to the fact that he's hung around for this long and he's not costing us an assload of cash either. I for one would love for him to realize his potential, but until that happens, I don't put him as a part of the equation. WHODEY !!!
