Spain
I was wondering where you guys thought these guys would go in the draft. As usual the best FB and Gaurd are going to fall because of position. However how far will they drop? Bach fell to the first pick in the second. This draft is deep. We might get FB wisonsin Bernstein in the 4th. Gillis might not drop out of the first. So where you have them going?
The_Next_Big_Thing
Bernstein will probably go mid 2nd round. Gilles will probably be late first or second. Why would we pick up a FB when we have two good ones currently on the roster?

walshfan
Bernstein is a fullback... Noone is going to take him in the second round. He's probably a fourth rounder.
Stripes
As others have said... the Bengals will get the opportunity to draft both players, but I highly doubt they do it... Our current guards are fine assuming they get resigned. JJ is a top seven or eight fullback in my mind, I don't want Bernstein.
Whur CHad At?
Spain, you can just drop the idea of drafting Gilles dude. We will not draft him, we have much bigger needs.

Spain
These two guy6s are special, they could fall to us by positon. The running game needs to abe ble to carry this team. Those first games. Gilles is Larry Alien 2. We wont miss one 4th and one. Bernstein is a gaurd in space. Perfect the power O, is the way to go! kingwilly
I'm in the "we don't need Gilles" camp...while he is talented, we have decent OL depth...if we add it will be a guy who as more versatility from r4 on.The faster we, as super-fans, realize that the key to a successful 2006 is making our defense better, the sooner we will get past worrying about when Carson comes back and having to score 30+ to win a game. redsbengalsbucks
I thought Gilles had a very bad combine, he may fall to late second round, but we do not need him in the least bit.

Seriously, good back and see HOW BAD Houston's O-line was last year and then see where Kubiak has stated making huge changes to the O-line. They are going to completely rebuild, so I'm thinking anyone who has played O-line in the draft this year, could be a suitor for Houston... Boy did they really SUCK last year !!!WHODEY !!! Spain
Wow you guys are so wrong, ever heard of BPA? Did we need Perry? Gilles can play TKL and gaurd. This reminds me of Bach! Our line would be set for years. Sometimes you just have to think aheadthats all.
TJJackson
Let's just re-sign Freddie Childress, ok? He'll come in at a bargain rate, probably will just want all the bbq he can eatat least you spelled the name right this time :-)
Spain
The guy is fat but fat people play football. Im just saying on the mocks Im looking at he is the BPA, If we could get bernstein in the third. I dont see how we pass. What do you want me to sat we aint picking that high. Were at the discount rack. The Dts will be gone. It will be CB, S, G,TE, And Gilles is a top ten lineman that is falling because of his position. The same with Bernstein. Ialso suspect that we will hit D heavy in Fas. This D isnt that far off.
TJJackson
Have you even bothered to review his combine results?
ShulaSteakhouse
The Bengals will take an 0-lineman in the 1st 3 rounds. They will not be able to retain/resign their entire o-line after this season and Braham is on his last legs. They need a guard and a center, as Steinbach, Levi and Willie alone will command a lot of dough, and there is no competent NFL center other than Braham on this roster as of right now.Just my prediction/opinion. TJJackson
I like Jon Scott of Texas along this line, SSVery, very athletic OT who could probably step in for Levi in 2007 if he doesn't re-sign
kingwilly
Spain, to say the D is not far off is like saying that the moon is close since you can see it.... It's all relative. This D is a CB upgrade (talent), SS (health), DT (talent/health) and DE (talent) away from being a championship unit. Part of that is health and part of it is talent. That is four players out of eleven...not that far off, next you'll tell me Carson's injury was "just a flesh wound".
