I don't mind our Bengals farting around while all the big name free agents get paid more than they deserve. I am sure we'll sign someone, maybe a Dexter Jackson... Someone who can contribute as needed to our already young and VERY talented team. We'll be fine.

Redskins | Lloyd will get a new contract

Sun, 12 Mar 2006 20:37:49 -0800

The Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins will give WR Brandon Lloyd a new contract. According to several league sources, the new contract will reach up to $10 million in guaranteed money and could average close to $5.5 million per season.

That is three WR's on that team making over 5 mill a year. Insane.

Sounds pretty dumb to me, but then again so did the Laverneus Coles / Santana Moss trade last year... Gibbs must have something up his sleeves.

Adam Archuleta signed with Washington to team up with Sean Taylor.

(Imagine being a receiver going across the middle against the 'Skins. Wow.)

They signed Washington late Saturday, but he didn't offically sign till Yesterday. It must of took him a while for his old ass to get to Cleveland to sign that deal.

Ah, I must have missed it. Thanks.
