  1. Bunkley would indeed be a pick Id like to see them get but like you said he'll more than likely be gone and I wouldnt be surprised to see the Browns draft him for their NT in that 3-4 defense Crennel is using..

Im hoping the Browns sign a NT so we'll have a shot at Bunkley but his stock is rising fast......

  2. It would be very hard trying to get enthused about watching the Bengals with Maddox at the helm all year.... Id rather go with Krenzel and have him try and not lose games...

Looks like Rudi and Chris Perry are going to get Allot of carries this year huh?????

  3. I have to agree with Joisey on this one.....

We have Williams at safety and if worse came to worse KK and Williams isnt that bad...

Our Dline is not good.... Improvement has to be made for the backers and Ends to be more effective....more penetration up the middle and someone that can clog blockers is a must imo.....

  4. Arent the Bengals going to give Pollack a prescibed weight to come into camp with this year.. I heard him say in the radio that he's at 245 right now....Will he lose a bit more to play backer or what??? I think he plays backer this year and its not out of the possibility that the team goes after another DE in the draft... which round Im not certain..

Manny Lawson caught my eye ( as everyone else's too )... the kid has a Huge upside at DE with another 10 lbs or so....

  5. I was under the impression that Zona had a good pass blocking offense but was poor at run blocking... the stats show they had 2 thousand yard receivers and Warner moved them pretty well.. No running back could get off the blocks down there though..

  6. You have to admit that the thought of Gabe Watson and Sam Adams at the DT positions along with Shaun Smith and Robinson backing them up would be enticing.... wouldnt it free up our DE's and backers to pressure the QB more???

  7. We have a major problem at QB this year dont we? Im not counting on Palmer playing much... I know he's rehabing the best he can but that injury is going to take allot of time to heal fully... I have a freind that had a similar injury and he said it still hurts a bit after 18 months..

We can only hope that Palmer is a quick healer and pray that the QB position is filled by someone that wont Lose games for us.... damn

  8. With Adams on board ( hypothetically) wouldnt a player such as Wroten have more of an opportunity to get to the QB due to the doubleteaming of Adams? Wroten by all accounts has slipped to the second round due to his issues with the law ( albeit minor )....

I just want to see the D line improved enough to let the rest of the defense worry about their tasks instead of these problems of no penetration up the middle...

  9. Trevor Price is intrigueing.. He's very strong and seems to have some quickness.... He'd be worth taking a look at in free agency I suppose..

I still like the idea of getting a Dt that can take on blockers to let the other DT put pressure on the QB and let the backers fill the gaps..

Sam Adams may not be athletic but he has mass and teamed with say Gabe Watson the line would be much stronger.. Robinson and Smith could rotate to keep all fresh and Thornton could be cut to help pay Adams contract...

    good idea or not?

  10. Adams probably isnt as good as made up to be but for sheer mass at holding blocks to let the backers have gaps wouldnt that improve our efforts to pressurer a QB? Wouldnt that let Thornton Robinson or a draft pick such as Watson or Wroten to go one on one and get pressure to the QB as well?

  11. When you really look at it, we only have 2 safeties on the team, Madieu and KK. I don't count Herring or Ohaletusdown as being on the roster, and I doubt Marvin does either.

I agree the safety position is very thin to say the least....

Id like to see them draft a versatile player who can play both the safety and corner positions if possible.

Looking at the potential draft I see Jason Allen as a complete player that can play either position and

How about Donte Witner? Isnt he versatile too???

  12. A corner that would be a great fit seems to be Jason Allen... fast and has healed from his injury....

I still like the athleticism and all around play of a Ko Simpson though..

He'd be a good pickup in the secondary....

    How about Donte Witner too?

  13. I dont know how tough it is to play in Joe Gibbs system but Arrington didnt fit in it and what makes anyone think he would fit in Marvin's as well?

for all the hype Arrington has had thru the years is he really that good?

He seems very undisciplined and only thinks of money and his stats ..

Id think twice about this guy for the money he'll want...

  14. AA is probably the most well conditioned player in the NFL ...Injuries aside he could play another 5 years in the shape he's in and be productive...

The money issue is the big thing... I agree that drafting Ko Simpson would be a more attractive way to shore up the secondary for years to come and Simpson seems to have more athleticism than AA or any other FA out there at that position...

the free agent that makes sense to me ( at a reasonable price of course) is Ma'ake Kemoeatu.. 6'5 350lbs ... What a clogger he would be to build around and he's relatively young .....

  15. Id lilke to see a combo of Watson-Adams at DT... double one and the other is one on one ..

A rotation of Adams Watson Smith and Robinson would keep all fresh and Thornton could be let go to free up even more money to land Adams....

  16. I don't know why so many of you piece of s**t clowns hate the guy. He never did anything wrong really, he played hurt for us to try and get in the playoffs, he had a freak staph infection that f**ked up his knee, and then he doesn't have anything bad to say about the city, team, etc after getting cut and being with us primarily in the dark years. We cut him to save cap room--plain and simple. He's still a multi-millionaire but s**t, give him a break. I guess I understand your opinions though and where they come from--half of you clowns (i said half, some of you are good guys) are 30 something year old guys who obviously have deadend jobs, ugly wives, or something else chronically wrong with you to justify your slaving over this website everyday making ignorant comments. Tirade finished.

Im going to have to check to see if warrick ever did any jail time cuz I swear you sound like you were his cellmate....never got over it huh??? find a woman now
