This is exactly what the defense needed. This guy is an A$$ stomper with an attitude. I also think Pollack will be impossible to keep off of the field. It will be Thurman, Pollack and Simmons with Johnson being the eventual replacement for Simmons. Johnson will be able to sub for all 3 spots. Superb!

I think the Bengals can beat the Pats, but I don't think they could stop Peyton and the Colts. I'm not sweating the Steelers. Ben is going to miss Plaxico, and the Bus and Staley don't scare me. They are always tough, but they have off season's.

This is a little jumping the gun, since Pollack isn't signed yet. Has anyone read or seen any implications that the Bengals could use a couple of 3-4 looks> There already seems to be a debate about Thurman, Pollack, and Johnson. You know Simmons will be in there. I wonder if all 4 will ever get on the field?

I would like to see the Bengals stop waiting for every single guy in the draft get signed before they sign their guys so they can save $50! I want to stop the GD run, and I want to see which receivers are going to make it, and I'll like to see Christy Perry quit being a girl.

That's a good call. This is nothing we should worry about this season. Our #1 concern should be Pollack and Thurman getting in.
-
No he isn't. No 1 player is. I love this guy, but you can tell he is becoming the stereotypical hot shot, big headed athlete. It's not worth the distraction to the team.

I too carry the curse of the Jersey. My collection includes
Boomer (A year before he was released)
Blake
Big Daddy
KiJana
PDub
My jersey days are over.

Poor idiot. If you can play the NFL will find you. They are blackballing Ryan Leaf too. Boy is he disillusioned. He is horrible.

I remember when Darney Scott went down, and that was it for our receivers. Remember when Kijana was out? Season over. Now Warrick, Pollack, and Thurman are going to be gone, and lo and behold we have people in place that are capable. That is because of the great job Marvin has done building this team. Even the doubt surrounding Perry doesn't matter because of Rudi. If these guys get in and contribute, that's great. If not, it's not the end of the season. Landon, Wilkins, and Caleb will step up. Just like Henry will for the receivers. It's time to move on. The quicker those 2 picks are in the better, but if not we have guys who can potentially play.
-
Don't you Warrick optimist's realize that Willis McGahee returned quicker after tearing 3 knee ligaments, than Peter is with whatever is wrong with his knee. It's rumored to a degenerating knee condition, which there is no fix for.

I just don't get the idea, that they are penciled in as starters. By not showing up they will fall behind and hurt their chances to start, which will cost them money if it comes to performane clauses. It just seems like a bad idea to GIVE away your starting spot. I'll bet it evens out. The money they are trying to get compared with the money they would get as starters. It just doesn't seem smart. Oh well. Time to move on. LETS GO WILKINS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yeah. Who's their Dr? Mangela?

I live in Michigan. Sirius NFL radio does the trick.
-
I don't see how he can make it.
-
Call it whatever you want, but it sucks if they aren't in camp. Bottom line.
-
He took all of last year off and still isn't healed. He's finished.

Man. In all of my years of watching Bengals, there was never a player that seemed so close to doing something but really had a disappointing career. There were highlights. That returned punt against the Jags, and the KC game, but he never seemed to get over the hump. I feel bad for him. Overall you would have to say bust, but man was he close.
-
Simple question. I say no. If a guy is going into his free-agent year, and still is limping he isn't coming back.
-
We underestimate Rudi so much it's ridiculous. He faced the most brutal schedule out of all NFL backs laste year, and didn't miss a game. He has unbelievable power and balance. Perry will be a great James Brooks type (hopefully), but I can't picture him being durable enough.
-
I'm confused. What's it called when a guy isn't in camp, but isn't holding out?
-
Does anyone have Sirius Satellite Radio? I was wondering if anyone listens to the NFL channel.
-
Well shouldn't they sign?
-
I haven't read it anywhere. That's just frustrated speculation on my part.
-
Just throw out those 2 stupid clauses. The 100% attendance and the stupid "don't say anything bad" clauses are responsible for these holdouts, and I just don't get how we are now getting consistent 2nd round holdouts. 2ND ROUND!!!!!!!!!!! That's ridiculous. Does camp start today? A F'n 4th rounder is not going to be in on time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the F is going on. I HATE this crap. Every year!!!!!! SUCKSUCKSUCKSCCSUCKSUCK!
Marvin needs to do what Billick did to Clayton
in Cincinnati Bengals

Just put it in as an incentive. Base it on playing time. I understand that these guys should try to get alot, but why fall so far behind? All of that time makes a difference. Year in and year out these guys never learn.
