  1. Who? TJ Slaton? Decent player, the Packers were not gonna pay him. The Pack is deep at DT, he was expendable. Slaton was a rotational guy. TJ started like 28 games in 4 years. Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, Colby Wooden, all get time at DT. Hope you guys didn't pay him more than 4 mill a year. That would be madness. I didn't see the contract when he went to Cincy. I wish TJ well for his future.
  2. Well, now you are acting like we are talking about the best division in football all-time. When you are discussing the best division in the NFL, you are talking about currently. No one said ever, over the last 40 years, or whatever. If we were talking 40 years ago it was called the NFC Central Division. Off the top of my head, I think the AFC North was called the central 40 years ago as well. And of course, things can change in the future, starting in September. But we are talking currently. The NFC North is indeed the best division in football. I'm not trying to brag, just stating facts. You don't have to tell me The Bears Still Suck. We started that in the mid 80s, when the Bears were one of, if not the best team in the league. You saw it at the draft, Clay Matthews screaming The Packers Still Suck! There is history to that. The 49ers based on schedule?? What are you even talking about?? I said look at what someone would consider the 4th worst team in each division. The Bears are as good or better as those teams. My apologies, this convo ends here. You are a person that likes to try and spin everything, & or move goal posts, when they realize they are being exposed as wrong on any given topic. Enjoy the season, I know I will!
  3. I don't think this is going to age well. 3-3 is possible, 2-4 is more probable. And I promise you I am not a Bengals hater. If I was forced to pick a fav AFC team? It would be the Bengals. I don't just visit any teams fan forum lol.
  4. Not sure why you made it like I was doing a AFC vs. NFC comparison. I indeed did say the NFC North is the best division in football. Another time we can discuss AFC vs. NFC. Seems as far as the best division discussion, you agree the Packers, Lions & Vikings are all high quality teams and franchises. I could make a case the Bears are as well. Now, they have not done enough yet to be considered a contender, but are they better than any other #4 team in ANY division? Yes, I think they are.
  5. I've been to other teams training camps over the years. Went to Cincy in 2023 for the Packers and Bengals joint practice. I was like: Is this really their training camp? No disrespect, but it's night and day different. Today will be my first camp practice this year. Normally try to get to about 11 of the open practices. 15 are open this year. I miss the days when all camp practices were open. There were about 1,000 fans at practice in Cincy in '23. Decent little crowd. I would say about 120 were Packers fans. The vibes were fine, but it didn't have the energy of a Packers camp practice. I would never return to Cincy for camp, and I hope the Packers never do either. Off to practice at 10:30 a.m. This forum won't let me attach pics or videos of camp, how lame. But I will post some stuff on how the Friday practice went(for any Packers fans that may be here, I get that Bengals fans don't care) Been invited to attend LaFleur's presser in the media auditorium before practice, then will be walking over to Ray Nitschke Field for practice. 6. Miller Lite is piss water. Brewed in Milwaukee and a money maker, but that doesn't make it a quality brew. So many superior beers and breweries in Milwaukee and Wisconsin. I used to drink Genuine Draft in High School, cuz it was cheap, then I grew up. Have not drank a Miller product in over 25 years. Proud of that fact.
  7. To answer the question of the Bengals record after the first 6 weeks? 3-3 at best. Sorry, but the Bengals can't hang with the best division in football. The Vikes, Lions, and Pack will make quick work of the Bengals. Just the facts from me, I have no bias against the Bengals. I just know the power of the NFC North. Edit: I notice some Bengals fan added a laughing emoji. Tell me what the best division in football is? It's the NFC North and it's not even close. Any knowledgeable NFL person will tell you that, it's common knowledge. The AFC North? That's the Ravens division. What else about it is special? You are claiming it's known as the best division in the NFL? What planet are you from? Too funny!
  8. Yeah, believe or not the Bengals and Packers have only played 14 times in history. All-time series tied at 7-7 right now. This game is huge! lol
  9. Who ya got week 6 in Lambeau? Asking for a friend. Been a while since the Packers and Bengals played in Lambeau. 2017 to be exact, an overtime game. The last 2 meetings between the Packers and Bengals went to OT actually. Should be a fun one... OneTeamOneNation PackerNation!
