what's weird is slamming the bengals for investing no better than 3rd round picks at LB when that is exactly what they should be doing and have, in fact, hit fucking homeruns with Wilson, Pratt, ADG and Bailey with that strategy - and have depth because of it to cover loss of Wilson in-house.

Logan Wilson is a stud. This convo is weird.

ADG is excellent. Truly. if Wilson misses he steps in and we really do not miss a beat. Bailey is excellent. He was huge last year when Wilson was out before Wilson came back and made big plays. Johnston made a huge play against TN to stop Henry on the 2-point coversion. Bachie is close to being back and he was excellent last year. They obviously will miss Wilson, but some knee-jerk "they-must-sign-a-LB" reaction is really weird to me. There will be NO linebackers just floating on waivers or a practice squad that are within 10 miles of how good ADG and Bailey are.

I put it in the other thread, but Burrow's start through 6 games is slightly better than last year. The appendix rupture screwed up the Steelers game for him and prob a few afterwards, but he's already on pace to match/exceed last year.

As for this year, 22nd in offense through five weeks is extremely disappointing...

No way in hell. I hate attending games when bengals are on road. It's just not fun. Even if they win I can't really enjoy it.

It's just hard for me to get excited until I see this team and its coaches do the basic stuff on offense. It should not be this hard.

CTB was pretty active in practice this week- he was running scout team as Lamar Jackson so that likely means he's moving plenty well.

dear lord it feels so much better today than it did last sunday at noon. What a really good five days and now we get to relax tomorrow and root against division opponents. Feels good.

They missed on Carman. No question. They may not have missed on Volson. That's a big deal.
