  1. Chase Brown eligible to return. Plitt signed back to the PS as QB3. https://www.bengals.com/news/bengals-roster-moves-quarterback-signed-practice-squad-drew-plitt-chase-brown
  2. This season certainly hasn’t done Tee any favors. And it looks like another bumper crop of WRs in the draft next year, too. He will still have a market and is still going to get paid, but maybe the Bengals can still be a player. Sportrac puts his market value at 4 years, $63.7 million, or just under $16 million a year. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cincinnati-bengals/tee-higgins-47628/market-value/ That’s doable imo.
  3. I doubt they get high enough to have a shot at Bowers, but who knows he could slide as the draft hype machine gets going. First question is what happens in March. They have potential holes at DT (Reader), OT (Jonah) and WR (Higgins, Boyd). Right now Sportrac puts the market value of each of those guys around $15 million/year. Some a bit more, some a bit less but that’s the range. And the Bengals do have an estimated $70 million in cap space. I would say the Bengals need to address two of those positions in FA either with resignings or quality outside FAs. Ideally I re-up Tee and DJ, put what I can on the table for Boyd but if he can get more elsewhere, god bless, and give Jonah a gold watch and a hearty handshake. Then I target OT in round one — and after I ID my target player I’m not shy about moving up to get him.
  4. Steelers frustrated with sucking. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/steelers-rb-najee-harris-vents-his-frustration-about-offense-after-loss-to-browns-im-tired-of-this-s/
  5. Bengals move up one spot to 17.
  6. Clowns win. Steelers will probably give the bengals similar looks next week. Stack the box, stop the run and sit in all the short routes and make browning beat them. O will look to run all over us which sadly will probably work.
  7. I can’t believe both these teams have winning records
  8. I don’t know what hands to the face is anymore
  9. Well calling this a “game” is a stretch so far.
  10. Make up call on the TD review oh Pitt sucks
  11. Cleveland robbed of a safety. Pickett was completely in the end zone.
  12. Yeah this season was janky from the start, so it all going to hell now doesn’t hit as hard. It’s not like 2015 when Andy was on fire all season and it seemed like they were finally going to get it done, only for the Steelers to stomp his hand into mush. That was a kick in the teeth. This year is more like stubbing your toe.
  13. Oh, I’m that old. Hell I just sneezed and I think I dislocated a shoulder.
  14. I endorse this plan with one addition. There will be one specially trained dire wolf unit, code named “casino ambush.” They have one target. I think you know who it is.
  15. 57. You’re a child. :D
  16. Trepasso had a mock over at CBS the other day giving us Egbuka so a popular pick emerging. Have to wonder about Tee’s market now tho. Anyhow, where do we stand going into the rest of week 11? https://www.tankathon.com/nfl Bengals at 18. In a scrum of five .500 teams
  17. Man, remember when “Steelers Week” was a big deal? We used to get trolls and someone would always post fat steeler chicks pics? Now it’s like, oh, yeah, towels, whatever. Anyhow, I guess at least we have the positive of Browning getting some extra prep time with the mini-bye Pitt’s offense is anemic and their d is very much like ours. They can’t stop shit but they have a penchant for turnovers. Their run D is terrible so if our coaches are smart LOLOLOL sorry they will lean on Mixon. However knowing Zac the game plan will probably be Browning throwing 50 plus times.
  18. Good song choice. Me, I’ve got “In My Life” on repeat…
  19. I believe the new shorthand the kids today are using is IJBOL. anyhow, laugh through the tears…
  20. Kinda figured it would be something like that. If it had just been a sprain he probably would have had a sling or wrap on when he came back out in the second half. Just glad it wasn't something more serious like nerve damage.
  21. https://www.fox19.com/2023/11/17/class-action-lawsuit-against-bengals-coming-barstool-sports-founder-says/
  22. FWIW Baby thinks Battle goes over Scott after last night. If so at least something good came out of that debacle. Oh, Cam is day to day with a quad too.
  23. Jets worked Collins out last month but didn't sign him. Giants supposedly kicked his tires as well. I wouldn't object to a return here if/when Jonah leaves. Issue on the line tho is Volson. He didn't make the hoped-for jump in his sophomore season. An upgrade there would have the biggest impact imo.
  24. I want to see Nick "waived" Scott.
  25. As expected the league is investigating the Bengals' injury reporting, or lack thereof. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38919776/nfl-investigate-bengals-injury-report-compliance Zac is of course claiming they are pure as the driven snow, meaning he's either lying or clueless (I'd bet the former).
