Probably. But the Jets have gone crazy this offseason and the Jags may not think Harrison is ready to start day 1 so who knows. I tend to agree with Morrison in the video tho, if a trade happens it will be later in the year.

Like wraith said, his big first year set expectations high and he was just good after that, so that has people wondering. I think that’s a little unfair, but ok. But also there seems to be a bunch of folks who really, really, really had their hearts set on Mayer. Local kid, Bengals fan, said its his dream to play for the team, so there’s a lot of agita that they passed.

All I know is that per pff he grades out better than any DE on the roster not named Hendrickson. So I’m not going to hold it against him that he had an oddly good freshman year.

That’s sad to hear. All I know is I clicked on a Malik Wright video and he starts shouting about how the Bengals suck and don’t care about winning if they don’t trade up to get Mayer tonight. Don’t get me wrong I’m a Mayer stan but I was unaware he was a golden god without whom all is folly.

Athletically the dude is a freak. And while you can ask about his production, he’s only 21. There’s a good chance that given a year or two of seasoning he’s going to be wrecking QBs like Godzilla wrecks Tokyo. Apparently this pick is widely hated. Once again I am so grateful I quit twitter.

At 92 they pick G Chandler Zavala, who is known more for run blocking than pass protection. They still have Jammie Robinson, Garret Williams and Trevor’s Hodges-Tomlinson on the board so Zavala is hard to get behind here.
