At this point, all eyes turn to Tee and the FO. That's the proverbial elephant in the room. If they re-sign or tag him, then they could go almost any direction at 17. If Tee walks, I think we can just pencil in Emeka Egbuka there and start discussing who we'd like in later rounds.

FWIW Golden seems to feel the early season issues can be addressed through better offseason QC, specifically strengthening spring workouts so that knowledge of the system doesn’t atrophy as much over the times they are off. I leave it up to the reader as to whether they think that makes sense, but at least it’s something. Glad to see someone remembers them! When I mention them I tend to get reactions like, “who?” Allied Forces is one of the best albums ever made. Wore that cassette tape waaaay out bitd.

Yeah I give exactly zero shits who wins. Bring on free agency.

I think my first was Triumph at the Gardens. Mid 80s. Saw The Firm around the same time, great show. Sat on a boat on the Ohio at Riverbend for Robert Plant & the Honeydrippers. Not sure which was actually first but probably Triumph.

Last concert I saw must be about 15 years ago now. Queensryche. Small venue, like 2,000 people tops. Fkking rocked. Me and a friend screaming along with Jet City Woman drunk off our ass. Fantastic night.

Damn. Better add another $10 million to stadium maintenance costs. Now when they need concrete they’ll have to hire actual trucks and laborers instead of just sending Troy over with a wheelbarrow.
-
Can’t speak for all fans, but I would feel better if the hire was the result of a competitive job search, that’s all. Is Golden qualified for the job? Absolutely. Is he the best person for the job? That I can’t say, because they didn’t even try to address that question. I just hope it works out. Burrow ain’t getting any younger.

PFF really hates him for some reason. Like if you take him in the second they give an F grade, and even third is a C.

Mel's pick in his first mock of the season: linebacker Jihaad Campbell, Alabama. Can't say I know anything about him, but looking at a few draft sites, he seems widely viewed as the second-best LB in the draft, though big board-wise he tends to fall in the early second range, like 35-40th ranked overall.
