  1. Best play-calling I’ve seen by Taylor Callahan, the 2 headed monster . (The 49er game this year is now the 2nd best). Chase Brown is what I hoped he could be…already! wonder if he pass blocks better than Mixon ? They were a good 1-2 punch last night. Hudson and Sample could man the TE for them next year and save a draft pick or FA signing.
  2. If you look up Frank Reich’s performance against Warren Moon and the Oilers in ‘93, Jake Browning’s passer rating is almost exactly the same , at 115 and some tenths of a point - Browning did not throw any picks, broke an all-time completion record for 1st and 2nd game QBs debuting, AND scored a damn rushing touch down . BALLER! I mean, no one’s going to remember Ryan Finley now - how’s that for a heat check !
  3. Come on Taylor and Callahan Channel your inner Bill Walsh
  4. Come on Jake Browning! Channel your inner Brock Purdy
  5. Feel ya My wildest dreams have A Jake Browning Rises from The Ashes Phoenix hue to them that hurts the eyes even to glance at -
  6. Some people used to say Boyd was a #1 . I think Tee is physical but can’t get the separation like an AJ Green did. Tee is a weapon as is Boyd, I don’t believe either have proved they are #1s . Marvin Jones was a guy who really was a good 2 or great 3 … the Lions paid him to be 1 . Money doesn’t make the best WR on the team, talent does though. i think in his prime TJ houshmanzadeh could have been a #1. I’m sure there are arguments against that. Carl Pickens was a #1 on any team. If you want to see the top of the mountain for wide receivers, go compare Randy Moss’s career numbers to AJ Green or Chad Johnson.
  7. Yeah first time I’ve seen him get on someone for a mistake
  8. Joe Burrows calf couldn’t tackle anyone on rush defense and gave up some huge pass plays … about 10 in a row it felt like … we got to bench Joe’s calf immediately
  9. Yeah can’t see Joe Brrrrr in a pitch black Pizza Hut … eating a mushroom special
  10. The Bengals o-line I’ve heard costs the 4th most in the league … that’s probably the most Mike has ever paid for that group if true… you’ve got 3 Super Bowl veteran champs on it, a former 1st round pick from Oklahoma and then a diamond in the rough at left guard in Volson. Guys on the bench with 2nd round pedigree and full of vets with playoff experience . You got to expect dominance with that! Mixon has already benefited and if they ever go balanced run with some help to block in the backfield, not just spread and shotgun all the time …
  11. If he’s found his real position , then it all worked out in the end. Whitworth could have been a HoF left guard but was paid more to be a near top level left tackle. Left tackle is probably the rarest position in the league to master , right next to top level QB and top level outside corner.
  12. Yep that was a great play. Not a typical call for Zac’s offense
  13. Yeah he may not ever be that guy again , he has been a real beast
