Top 5 picks, all lineman.  Bad teams starting over with their lines.  who woulda thunk it?

top 10 picks, aside from QB, are all Bengals top needs: OL, CB, LB, DL

This one is definitely not falling the Bengals way

Dunno. No guards have been taken and only 2 CBs through 21 picks.

Punter. I would take a punter.

(ruining group mocks has long been a hobby of mine)

Given that Matt Miller himself is overseeing this one and compiling the google spread sheet of picks, I'm probably not gonna go that route this time around...

Looks like Petit-Frere or Penning if you're into OL. Could roll the dice on a TE, none have come off the board yet.

I am leaning Penning, too much tOSU lineman ptsd and I just watched Petit-Frere get abused by Hutchinson. Or am I a prisoner of recency bias...

Read up on the guy - he sounds like he has a true nasty streak. Would love to plug him in at RT. If we get to May would be quite happy if he were there when we pick.

but.......but........he's a LEFT tackle

Yeah, not worried about that. Read up on him / sounds like he would be a nasty RT. He has a mean streak and likes to bury the people he is blocking.

Whoa boy, I finally did some looking into Penning and I'm sold if he were to be the pick.
Time at both OT and OG, having success at both.  Big mauling type who simply wants to wreck the opposition.
When considering who was on the board when you picked Mem, he would be a great pick.

I love this stuff !!

Seriously, if he shows well at Senior Bowl and tests well, I would be thrilled if he was the guy five months from now.

I have updated the mock - six picks left til I am back up for the last pick of this two round mock draft exercise.

Gimme an OC, a man/press corner, or a coverage linebacker with pick 2

well, ok, if a passrushing DL (inside or out, no matter) is CLEARLY/OBVIOUSLY the BPA at that point, thats fine too.  Run stopping ability is a plus, but not the target

Any C at this point would be a pretty massive reach, fwiw.

People would probably call this a reach in the 2nd by a couple handfuls (I wouldn't) but he won't be there in the 3rd.

Ed Ingram, OG, LSU

He played with Burrow and Chase and more importantly, the guy is a mauler.
It would not only give you two aggressive o-linemen, but instant familiarity having him protect Burrow.

Ask Burrow his feelings about the guy and if it's a green light, go get him !!

Only one TE off the board so far. Worth a look.

Man...I just...it is gonna be impossible for me to support TE that early given how we run this offense.
