bengalskyspy
I saw Cato June in Cincinnati today. He was on a flight with me to Seattle. I doubt that he was just connecting in Cincinnati, so he must have been in to meet with the Bengals. I say go for it. He is not a premier LB, but more productive than our guys. Tell me what you think.
Kazkal
Um preatty sure he's not allowed to talk to other teams about a contract till FA starts.
bengalskyspy
Um preatty sure he's not allowed to talk to other teams about a contract till FA starts.Does that preclude just a meeting to assess interest?

Just Imagine..Simmons, Odell, Cato...SICK!What makes you think Odell will come back and automatically start for us?I would love to see Cato June here. He would be a great addition. I would rather have Briggs or Adalius though
Whur CHad At?
Um Did you see him against the Jags and Rudi run him over. No Thanks. Id take him for a minimum contract, but nothing big. In fact I would be pissed if we signed him for a lot of money
Kazkal
.Simmons, Odell, Cato...SICK!Why did we draft brooks then?
Spain
PASS, Landon and caleb have been progressing very well. The football center of the universe, women go naked on my beaches. Has spoken.
bengal4life
Cato is undersized and has problems wrapping up. I think we have enough players that can't wrap up...let's not add one more.
BTG
We already have Cato June. It's just that when he plays for us he's called Landon Johnson.

ThortonMelon
We already have Cato June. It's just that when he plays for us he's called Landon Johnson.Exactly. I dont see Cato June as an upgrade over Landon or even Caleb Miller.
AMC
Did he miss any open field tackles on the plane? Because he sure did that enough during the season....Watching him try to tackle Jones-Drew was a treat.
BTG
Also, I have to say that if the Bengals sign any more f*cking Michigan players, I'm going to go on strike as a fan. What's next, the United States Army starts recruiting members of Al Qaeda for service?
Stripes
Cato June kinda sucks. He had a pretty good '05 season... but he kinda sucks.
Whur CHad At?
Yeah, what TDB said. He is the one free agent this year who will get WAY overpayed. I wish I could have Briggs...but I can only dream
ShulaSteakhouse
I agree that LJ is just as good, if not better.Caleb is not June's equivalent though. He is overrated by Bengals' fans like a few other players here IMO.It could be June was catching a direct flight somewhere out of Cincy, as Indy's pretty close obviously. Whur CHad At?
I think Caleb isnt overrated. He is solid but not spectacular. I would take him over June any day of the week.
Spor_tees
I think Caleb isnt overrated. He is solid but not spectacular. I would take him over June any day of the week.Well I have read in a couple different places that the reason Miller hasn't progressed is he has a bad attitude and is considered uncoachable. I guess we will know for sure next year when we see if he still gets any playing time after Brooks has learned the system...
Whur CHad At?
He is a solid backup.
