WhoDey42
http://www.nypost.com/sports/61194.htmThis would be interesting. I really like Kornheiser, but I don't know how he'll do in the booth. It could turn out to be a bust, but I don't think it would be nearly as bad as Dennis Miller was (seeing that Tony actually knows something about football). Stripes
I like Kornheiser too. He doesn't seem like the type you normally hear in a booth job, but I think he could do well there.
Whur CHad At?
I would rather see Woody Paige or Skip Bayless in the Booth. Or rather Jay Mariotti.....
WhoDey42
I would rather see Woody Paige or Skip Bayless in the Booth. Or rather Jay Mariotti.....Wow, I didn't think you could get any worse than the previous SNF crew. But if they were to put any 1 of those 3 guys in the booth, they might as well just not have anyone in the booth, because I would guess most people would be muting their tvs anyway....I know I would be. GROIIIDayton
Skip Bayless knows next to nothing about sports. Sometimes I think they tell him what to say. I could be more informative, no joke.
KMH14
While we are at it, let's go ahead and put Greg Lloyd in the booth, I am sure he would supply very informative (and vulgar) information to relay to the national audience. LB51
No! Not Kornholer!I hate this guy. Bit I also hate Theismann, McGuire, Paige, Bayless..............All these guys are show-boaters. MNF needs a guy that can add a little color/humor without grandstanding. Wish I had some ideas, but I don't.
Stripes
MNF should try out some former players who won't hold bias or be all around annoying (Theismann/McGuire). Simms and Aikman do a great job on CBS/FOX. I was also impressed with Rich Gannon for the one game I saw him announce.
Whur CHad At?
What happened to Chris Collinsworth!? I know he had to sit out this year because he is going to be with a new station( I dont know which one), and also attending Bengals games by himself. And speaking of former players, how bout Anthony Munoz? He is great during the pre-season games. Or, maybe TO if he doesnt make it this year, he could go to the booth telling everyone how to do situps in your driveway after being kicked off of your team

Stripes
It also says Mike Tirico will be a go if Michaels is not. I think he's a very underrated announcer, he'd do very well in that spot... I actually like the prospect of a Tirico, Theismann, Kornheiser crew a lot. Dan2330
I would rather see Woody Paige or Skip Bayless in the Booth. Or rather Jay Mariotti.....Mariotti is a blow horn! Living in Chicago I have to put up with Jay every day in the Sun Times- he will never get it since he sabatoged his own radio show a few years back on ESPN. Woody Paige- too stuck on his point and whines too much on Cold PizzaCollinsworth will be on NBC...
Stripes
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2323121Kornheiser is a go. Turico will lead the crew, and Theismann will round out the trio. Suzy Kolber and Michelle Tafoya will both work the sidelines.I think this will be a very good crew. I'm not sure what to expect from Kornheiser yet, but I have a feeling he will do very well. He's great on PTI.
lando griffin
By far Tirico is the best man. He never says s**t that annoys me, his voice isn't annoying, and he's pretty damn informed about whatever sport he's covering.

Tirico will be great.Anyone know if Paul McGwire will still be calling games anywhere? If so, please tell me the network so that I can have a fair amount of warning before muting the television. The_Next_Big_Thing
Theisman is the worst choice ever. I may be forced to quit watching MNF!

Stripes
Theismann is annoying at times, but he was by no means the worst guy on that ESPN Sunday Night crew... I expect him to be better without Paul McGuire whining about everything that leaves his mouth.

Whur CHad At?
I like Kornheiser.I Do too. Kornheiser isn't an expert at the game, and won't sit there and annoy us with all of that real in-depth football mumbo jumbo. He will let us enjoy the game. Theisman, on the other hand prb. won't.
