He got a new agent last year who does not get paid unless Johnson gets a new deal. CJ has led the AFC in receiving 2 years in a row and he is going to want more money. I hope that he does not holdout but it is only a matter of time. Quote

Him getting a raise is quite another question. I don't see the organization even approaching him on it in the hopes things just play their way out and go from there. I won't be disappointed if they do or don't give him one, but YES he does deserve it. Who's going to take his place ?? Henry ?? Washington ?? To say him being a crybaby disrupted the whole team in the playoffs is just a "little" off. I don't think it was Chad playing defense, getting ran the F**K over was it ?? Even so, if the WORDS of ONE person affect how well the remainder of the defense play, when the ONE person doesn't play defense, I THINK SOMETHING ELSE IS WRONG !! I agree with him not making a fuss this year either, but if he continues to produce as he has up until this point (Pro Bowls and all) "and" winning a Super Bowl, he would be MORE than justified looking for a BIG slice. Put me in the camp that feels Chad is underpaid. I'm not saying we should go out and make him the highest paid player in the NFL, but just stating "I" feel he is underpaid.WHODEY !!! Quote

And to think for a few days there, I agreed with him on a number of things. But you must have been paid and smoked it up dude, because there will be no trade. There was no physical alteration in the locker room. Chad said it, Marvin said it, and Nancy Brown said it! Chad has said his agent works for HIM not the other way around, and that he will not hold out. Chad has said that he expects his contract to be reworked the same way Carson's was, quietly and without a bunch of publicity. He further said if Drew can't get it done, he knows an agent who will.THERE WILL BE NO HOLDOUT, AND THERE WILL BE NO TRADE. Quote
