Dan2330 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Won't catch me dead in the following (btw, been to all of these stadiums and seen similar to what is described):1- Arrowhead Stadium (Chiefs) as a Raiders fan Watched as a couple of Foolish Raider Fans took it upon themselves to walk through the tail gate section before the Chiefs/Raiders game. Soon they were running as bottles and yes even chicken bones were being tossed at them. Any ones whose fans show up on Saturday to tailgate gets number one.2- Black Hole (Raiders) as a Chiefs fan Payback is hell, show up in the hole in pretty much wearing anything other than the Silver and Black and you might get stabbed or shot. The only other color that works in the black hole- prison jump suit orange3- Dawg Pound (Browns) as a Ravens fan Or better yet on Halloween wear a Modell costume and you might be likely to be beaten to death with a dog bone. Never experienced the old Dawg Pound (Cleveland Memorial Stadium) and sometimes wish the old creepy stadium was still around- the new version of the Dawg Pound is much weaker4- Lincoln Financial (Eagles) as a Cowboy fan Again as in the case of Cleveland the old Veterans Stadium was a harder core and scary place. Why not wear a Jimmy Johnson t shirt and big ol cowboy hat in the upper decks and see how many Eagles fans get arrested and taken to court in the stadium or toss snowballs at you5- Paul Brown Stadium (Bengals) as a Steelers fan (2006 entry) Going to go out on a limb here and take a guess that The Jungle is going to be a scary place for the Terrible Towels to show up next year. I can't wait to travel down from Chicago to witness this game, here is praying the matchup is on Monday Night Football sometime in late September or early OctoberAnyone have any crazy experiences they saw in other stadiums? walshfan Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 If your wearing your team's garbs Id say it would be best to keep a lower profile in Philly.... they do go nuts sometimes.. Quote
PMThor Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 If your wearing your team's garbs Id say it would be best to keep a lower profile in Philly.... they do go nuts sometimes..This is funny, because my best friend is from Philly and is a hard core Eagles fan. Well last year Philly went into Cleveland and he had tickets. He asked me what to expect, and I told him to be respectful and keep your head on a swivel, because you never know what those Browns fans would do. You just never know. He looked at me and said if he can wear his Eagles jersey and garb in to a Giants game, then he could handle Browns fans. He went on to say that he knows better than to provoke idiots too. I just shook my head and told him and his brother to be careful.I called him at halftime. Between all of the muffles and back and forth I made out that his brother got sucker punched in the jaw.I talked to him the next day and he said he would never ever go back to Cleveland again under any circumstance. Absolutely true story. Quote
NJ29 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 I got dog bones thrown at me when I went to watch the 2003 game in Cleveland. Quote
indybengalsfan72 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 The most friendliest place has to be the Dome in Indy..Those fans don't have the killer instinct and need to learn how to talk smack..It can be a good thing for an opposing fan as well, since they don't have to deal with the **** and the taunting that you would receive at other stadiums, for wearing your team's apparel. BengalNation1281 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 I wouldn't want to go into Philly wearing any team's jersey that isn't the Iggles. And I would love to go to Pittsburgh wearing my Bengals gear. Quote
AMC Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Wherever there are CLE fans I hope you have a beer-bottle resistant head....That's the most "beer-bottlin' throwin'" people I have ever seen. Even in PBS...I think it's a sign of inferiority! Quote
turningpoint Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Denver has quite the homefield adv also. Quote
kayaker0678 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 i went to a cheifs game and it was cheifs vs. broncos and there was a oak fan and he was beat up!! Quote
Tasher Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 At least the new beer bottles at the stadiums are now plastic! Quote

But there were no CARD FANS to yell at so I was lucky I guess . But once I got inside it was just funny looks and no oe said nothing at all.... Quote
