NJ29
I was thinking today about my favorite Bengals players, and guys like Deltha, Madieu, Tab, and T+L came to mind. And then I thought of T.J., and I realized why I like him so much. T.J. is exactly what the Bengals need to be about in order to make a Super Bowl run in the future. T.J. came out of nowhere. Many of us (including me) were calling for his head at the beginning of last season. The guy was fighting for a roster spot, and he stepped up and had a great season. I haven't seen a guy in the league who is more fearless going over the middle, and he is one of the toughest receivers in the league. He plays with a swagger and confidence, and he loves to have the ball with the game on the line. He's a team guy, and he never backs down when DBs get in his face. He leads by example, and he is, simply put, the definition of a football player.
andybren
What he said. And why I bought myself a TJ jersey for Christmas.
bengalbutch
And he walked off the field with Chad, not shaking any Pitt players hand.
ShulaSteakhouse
I wouldn't consider TJ one of Ludwig's "Soft" players, and he's probably one of the most underrated WR's going - although he got some pub this year finally. He'll be a household name within the next few years hopefully. Dan2330
And refreshing to finally hear out of Cincy that when his contract came up he was 'eager' to stay with the Bengals since they took care of him
cincy9275
i too was harsh on him at the start of the season , but i take it back tj is a beast he has developed into a great w/r very tough hard to bring down and makes great plays. even when tj had a couple of guys covering him he always seems to catch the ball
oldschooler
I was against the Bengals re-signing TJ last offseason.I didn`t think he had shown enough in his first 4 yearsto warrant such a "hefty" contract. I didn`t think he wasthe "scoring threat" that the Bengals needed at the #2 spot.He sure proved me wrong ! He has put together 2 good seasons back to back.He plays without alot of fire and intesity. He`ll go across the middle and take the hit.And even though I think he has "taunted" and done more"disrespecting" than Chad Johnson has ever done, I have to say I absoluting loved seeing him "shine his shoes" withthat "Terrible Toilet Paper" ! I also love that he has alot of hatred for the Steelers.Glad you made me eat crow TJ ... it taste alot better than I thought ! And heres wishing he gets better every season. Because ultimately, TJ`s success = Bengals success.
DontPushMe
Yeah housh is awesome. That "hefty" contract that many forumers were worried about last offseason now looks more like a bargain.
