combatbengal Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 That was a tough loss. The Bengals can hold their heads high. All of them did a great job this year. Next year we'll improve even more and go farther in the playoffs. Now we focus on getting Palmer back and the April draft. Go Bengals! Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I don't think Carson will be holding his head high. He is prob. in too much pain Quote
CBin2k7 Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I agree, while the initial impact of the loss stings, especially with it being to Pittsburgh. I am very happy and so excited for the future, ready to get next year going. The Bengals need to start wearing their orange socks again, they have fallen in love with the Black socks.Did you know...The Bengals have won 9 straight games when wearing their orange socks.Just a stupid fact Quote
camber Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I don't think Carson will be holding his head high. He is prob. in too much painI've torn an ACL, with slight tear in MCL as well.....after initial shock of the "pop"...it really doesn't hurt that bad. In fact, I was walking, with only a light limp, a meer hour or so after said tears. Didn't even get it checked out for 4 or so months(wasn't really sure if it was a tear or not) and went snowboarding after only one day of rest.I am sure the loss hurts more than the injury at this point.Palmer will be back....and he will be good. semiotter Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I had a real good friend with the same and he still runs 5 miles a day now and he is 50 years old. And you know Carson will have the best doctors. So hang in there guys................ Quote
benglsdrumr Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 gotta give props to cowher. he DID put a stop to our explosive offense immediately (with the exception of the chris henry play of course)...Get well Carson (and Madieu)!! Quote

Whur CHad At? Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Uhh..Cowher only stoped our explosive offense cuz they took out our biggest weapon. If he hadn't of done that, it would be a total different story right now. Quote

If he hadn't of done that, it would be a total different story right now. That was the point of my post. Cowher's playbook had these 3 words in it--- "Take out Carson" and Oelhoffen took care of business. obviously w/o Carson, it's harder to put up points. IMO, Starting off the 2nd half, we should've run Rudi more....doesn't matter now. TIME TO LOOK FORWARD TO THE DRAFT!!! Quote
