jungleman
looks like on around the horn we have no shot at winning.
walshfan
And Michael Smith of Around The Horn picked the Bengals to defeat the Stools.. Who cares what anyone thinks...Last I remember no analyst will be taking the field once the game starts...
Tasher
Better to be underrated and under the radar and come out smokin' me thinks.Has anyone else seen the comments coming from the Stillers? Totally smug, overconfident and assured (of themselves) of winning.Sounds like very ripe for a fall.Still, they gotta tee it up and kick it off, so we'll just have to wait and see. Nothing I've read yet has given any chance of even hoping to be anywhere near the Stillers by the final gun.(...insert Humming theme to "Underdog" here...) Dan2330
Marriotti or however u spell his name is the most overrated 'so called' sports colluminist in Chicago. This guy could not even keep a radio talk show above the water, he was too put it frank- boring!Jay, go back to your cushy job at the Sun Times and quit blabbing on ESPN.... HairOnFire
Let's see. The Bengals got the inside track on their playoff berth by beating the Steelers in a so-called must win game played in Pittsburgh. After losing the must win game the Steelers slipped in as the last wild card team only after getting help from a Miami upset of San Diego. MacD BengalFan
Although I did not hear his comments about his beloved Bears, I would bet he declared them dead as well because of everything that is wrong with the team. He never gave the White Sox a chance in h**l because they had no closer. You see how of a prognasticator he is. I remember when Clarett had his problems a couple of years ago he was crying for the NCAA to take away the 2002 Championship from Ohio State. We all know that isn't going to happen. He is an arrogant fool!
jungleman
mac marrioti was right on the luckeyes they should have had there title stripped for clarret and gamble.
Kazkal
Everyone is going agaist us because of our rush defense, they seem to forget we haven't had one all year even though it's gotten better 2nd half compared to 1st
jjakq27
Was it Jay Marriotti? If so, he was another guy that was a former writer (see Peter King) for one of the Cincinnati newspapers back in the 80's.
BengalszoneBilly
Everyone is going agaist us because of our rush defense, they seem to forget we haven't had one all year even though it's gotten better 2nd half compared to 1stI can't believe it's me who's defending the defense here, but it must be said there have been good games against the run. Hell, it's THE reason we beat the Steelers in the last game in Pittsburgh IMHO! In that matchup the defense yielded a mere 93 total yards against one of the leagues top rushing offenses. For the Bengals to win this weekend, the defense must duplicate that performance, and I believe they will. I love the fact Cincy is flying into this one below the radar, leaving opponents ripe with overconfidence
Ripper
On around the horn some of those responses are made to be argumentative. Seen Woody on Cold Pizza have a totally differant opinion on things than on that show. If it was made in the final round at least.
Stripes
Jay Marrioti is the perfect specimen to fit the nickname "Fat-face."
