walzav29
As any loser gambler like myself will tell you. Whenever a spread is too good to be true, it's because it is. Why would the spread be 7? There must be some whack stat that is against Cincy. Why shouldn't the Bengals win this game 492-0? I hate when this happens! Vegas knows something. kingwilly
Here is what they know....Bengals have rep and stats that say can't stop run. This is on the road, so we give 3. neutral site this is a -10 or more line. If this were at Cincy it would be a -13 or more line.Vegas is just looking to make back what it lost on us last week.

HoosierCat
I suspect the bookies are looking more at the Lions' defense, which has actually been pretty stout vs. the pass. They're 9th in the league in INTs with 15, 10th in passing yards allowed, and 15th in TDs allowed throough the air. OTOH, their run D has been vulnerable at 26th in yards allowed (tho they still rank 12th in rushing TDs allowed). That sets up a game in which the Bengas could reasonably be expected to pound the ball on the ground, and maybe come up short and settle for FGs a couple times. And maybe Detriot gets a pick or two in good field position for some points of its own. Of course, that doesn't take into account the Brakowski factor... Stripes
Sounds like another 30 carry day for Rudi. That's my favorite kind of game to watch!
scott91575
The Lions D is actually not bad. The O, downright horrible. Also, they are without Kevin Jones. If the Bengals can't stop this offense, I am done for the year. I think I can get together a pickup game outside Ford Field and put together a better offense, or put together a D that can stop that offense. They are so bad it hurts to think how bad they are.
