Spain Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Guys I dont even remeber his name but this new DT we have in there is playing well. We held the browns down on D, This is the first game Rudi and the D did it. They proved they could beat a bad team with D and O line play. Well they can. It was impressive for The DL and OL. This all started with our new DT coming in and holding the point of attack. This might be just what the doctor orderd. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Smith is impressive. Always seems to make plays when he's activated. Fast for his size too. Definite upgrade to Robinson so far. Quote
BengalByTheBay Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Agreed -- Smith is contributing. I would like to see him in with Robinson when he returns and get Thorton out of the mix for now. JT is just not getting it done and is getting some bad penalties -- almost trashed my remote on that 4th down offsides on Sun. Quote
Spain Posted December 13, 2005 Author Report Posted December 13, 2005 Hey did you notice JT had a good game too. He was one of the reasons we held them on the run. He might have been a victim of Robinson being to fat also. It seems he wore down real quick. He never really ever recovered from that beating they took from Chicago.(brutal) Fresh legs have rejuvenated this D line a little they still have a couple of practise games. With Water boy and him and the DBS. We are loking at a championship D being formed. gotta love marvin. Quote
bengalsLB Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Shuan smith is da s**t he should get an extension Quote
Spain Posted December 13, 2005 Author Report Posted December 13, 2005 I know wow, a real DT there, who would of thought that would help. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Frankly, I too would like to see Smith line up next to Mr. Robinson. Quote
buck3y3d Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Smith is a run stopper and a good one, but he needs to work on his lines to the QB. He had a definite sack yesterday and he let Charlie run by him. Quote
Stripes Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 I like what I have seen from Smith as well. The knack on him had been his stamina, but I haven't seen any problems related to that as of yet. If anything I think he has been getting stronger as games have worn on, as the run defense has seemed to buckle down in the second half of games. Quote
