Interesting possibility. Kid was a 1st rounder just 3 years ago, only 24. I remember being interested in him. Never cracked the starting lineup in Miami, did pick up a couple INTs in 2002. Unless there's some injury issue I haven't heard about, I might be puttin' in a call...

He's worth a shot. If he has any talent at all he puts Hawkins on the bench and that would make me happy. I haven't been more down on a DB since Ray Horton blindly roamed the field.

I remember Fletcher when he played at Wisconsin a few years back. I think he injured himself his rookie year in Miami... He had some serious wheels running a 4.3 at the combine in 2000 I think.

He at least gives us another option than Alvin Porter and Jeff Burris. And he should definitely come cheap.!!
