BengalszoneBilly
Even after I read this ARTICLE AT BENGALS.COM, I couldn't fathom the reason for this. Was it to get an insight on what the Browns may do Sunday? They can't be that worried can they? Any idea's?
derekshank
He wouldn't have any insight on what Romeo Crennel is trying to do.We called him up because they must be considering not re-signing Kitna, and are looking to see if he can be a legitimate #2. He's probably not... so we'll probably re-sign Kitna.
Stripes
I think he can be a legitimate #2 with better talent around him than he had in Cleveland. Still, I think we'll stick with Kitna anyways, which is what I'd prefer.
Green 66
I think sticking with Kitna is the smart move, would allow him most likely to retire here, and move to the coaching ranks here as well. Coaching should be something that Kitna should look into due to his ability to both calm and instruct Palmer, if im not mistaken, he was going to be an high school english teacher before he got the call from Seattle. Anyways would be another sad day in this town if he would leave for another venue.Mike GreenWaynesville Ohio
AMC
Just exploring all the options....no harm in that....plus he was probably in the area!if you want funny sarcastic commentary on the Couch deal go to www.cleveland.com and check out the Browns forum...very comical.... Who?
Ehh.. I'm a little mixed up about this one, if he was somehow signed by the Bengals I think Timmy could be solid with the talent that the Bengals have on their offense. Oh, and having one of the best offensive lines in the NFL could help too.
bengalindian
It's the week before the Browns game. They have nothing better to do.

Jonboat
I think the Bengals would love to have Kitna back but he's a FA next year & if he gets an offer to start for a team he'll jump on it. They are exploring all their options.
Columbusbengal
I think the Bengals would love to have Kitna back but he's a FA next year & if he gets an offer to start for a team he'll jump on it. They are exploring all their options. As I mentioned before, I suspect Kitna would go with Brat (if he leaves) because he could start and help install a new offense with the new team. Otherwise, I got the feeling last year that he really has no desire to learn a whole new offense (particularly for a bad team) and would enjoy staying with the Bengals and trying to help win a Super Bowl. And yes, in a few years he could certainly coach if he wanted to do that.
bengalboomer7
I thought I read somewhere where Kit wants to be a high school coach, I agree we're just exploring our options. Somewhere I read a good article about coach and his rehab and how well he was doing. Couldn't begin to say where it was, but I have a sneaky feeling one of you guys will pull it out of thin air(and yes, I'm that lazy ) Meant to say Couch, in that second sentenceNow, I'm just playing around, I love that fast Reply button
andybren
Why the hell? The same reason you draft Rudi Johnson when you already have Corey Dillon. And why you draft Chris Perry when you already have Rudi Johnson. It doesn't hurt to look.
