Stripes
ESPN So far the boys at ESPN seem to be favoring the Bengals.YAHOO They likes the Steelers, but the anonymous public says Cincy.CBS Picking against the spread, they like the Steelers.Walter's He likes the Steelers. bengalindian
Wow, that's great. I was looking at the overall record for these guys, and I have a better record than anyone at Yahoo or CBS. I would have to say the ESPN guys are collectively smarter, but for "experts", these guys don't know more than the common football fan. Not that I'm surprised. NYBengalfan
Even Better news, Peter King picks Pittsburgh to win 27-24. This a**h*** has Green Bay beating the Bears as well. Now I know for sure that we will win.

Bengalbob
I like BD's take from Pigskin Addiction . . ."BD’s Take: Ok, I’m now officially a Bengals homer. The reason? Simple. Nobody in the NFL is as much fun to watch than the Bengals right now. Carson Palmer and Co. can light it up and their ‘D is feisty and getting better every week. They have had big plays all season on both sides of the ball, and it because of this they will go into Pittsburgh to avenge the loss the Steelers gave them earlier this season. Pittsburgh will do its best to show up, but this team has the feel of being lost, particularly in the wake of the ass-hammering the Colts just dumped on them. Start all Bengals and members of the Steeler’s passing attack, I just don’t have the faith I used to in Pittsburgh’s ground game."http://www.pigskinaddiction.com/2005/13/Fri/default.asp
Stripes
Chris Mortensen (in my opinion the most knowlegeable of all TV analysts) has picked the Bengals to win. He has seemed to have his eye on the Bengals ever since his Superbowl comments during the draft. I like it.

The only two "experts" ahead of me are Salisbury at ESPN and Cris Collinsworth at HBO. And Mr. Collinsworth selected the Bengals while three stooges he shares the stage with selected Pittsburgh. bengalindian
I think the three worst analysts are on FSN. I know one of them is Jason Sehorn, but I dunno the other two. Their comments about football sound to me like they haven't watched a single football game this year.
Stripes
I think the three worst analysts are on FSN. I know one of them is Jason Sehorn, but I dunno the other two. Their comments about football sound to me like they haven't watched a single football game this year. Chris Meyers and the fat guy that does Fox sideline reports.... Jay Glazer. That show, FSN Football Preview, is horrible. They just cruise through the games each week offering information obvious to even a casual football fan.And Seahorn is a geek. derekshank
It is now Sunday morning, and Salisbury and Hoge... the two ESPN leaders... still don't have their pick in.Everyone but Golic seems to be picking Cincy though... I hope that's not a bad omen.

I hope that's not a bad omen.Omen schmomen ... the Bengals simply have to take care of business. This is their final opportunity before the playoffs to show they are more than a 'wildcard playoff team' for 2005. Not that I wouldn't be happy with that, and be excited looking to 2006, but this is all about 2005 right now. The Colts took care of bad records versus the Pats and Steelers this year. The Bengals have taken care of bad records versus the Ravens, and now the Steelers are on tap. Take care of business guys! Both teams are 'healthy'. The weather is the way the Steelers claim they like it. The Steelers have everything to play for. It's in Pittsburgh. No excuses for them this time. We win, we deserve it. We take over the AFCNorth, and the Steelers will be crawling away wondering what might have been. This is THE OPPORTUNITY. Bring it.Go Bengals!
