walzav29 Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 It just occurred to me that they'll roll Big Ben out next Monday and the Colt's will spank them. I have a hrd time believing that Ben. A guy who has only lost to 1 team in his short history will all of a sudden lose back-to-back games. Or that Big Chinned maniac will stand for his team losing 3 in a row without him. I think going 0-4 against teams with a winning record will be devastating for a young team. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 One game at a time. Do you think Palmer is going to lay down for the steelers so they DONT lose 3 in a row? I don't. Quote
walshfan Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I can see the Stoolers losing 3 in a row now...I think the Colts will take them and the Bengals could too... They arent invincible... Quote
AMC Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Eh, better focus on the Ravens first. They'll be kinda PO'ed this coming sunday with a bit of confidence. Quote

No way. No how. Quote
Bengal_Brad Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I pasted about the possibility of the Steelers losing 3-in-a-row, sometime last week. They will lose 2, it will be up to us if it turns out to be 3.That game now is HUGE. Dec 4th is going to decide the division winner.http://forums.bengalszone.com/index.php?showtopic=8344 Quote
The Big Orange Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 The cool thing is if they lose 3 in a row they are not only probably out of the division race, as we will have the tie breaker since they will have lost more than us in the division (if we beat Ravens and Browns again). They could lose 4 in a row since they play the Bears after us...but not likely. And maybe even out of the wildcard race since it will probably come down to them and the Jaguars and the Jags hold the tie-breaker over them too.If that's the case we may be playing the Pats, Chargers, or Jags in the first round (assuming the Colts and Denver have byes)...I don't think the Chiefs have a chance and the Steelers are more likely to be the Wild Card than the Chargers.Cowhers scowl makes me howl in delight. bengalindian Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 One game at a time. Anyone see the Dallas locker room? This could be a trap game, but I'm sure Marvin knows it. And I see the Steelers picking apart the Cover 2, but hopefully the Colts' D doesn't break. Quote
turningpoint Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 f**k no i don;t i expect them to lose 4 in a row.Bears will f**k them up. Quote

It's all good! where is that Bear/PITT game any way? Soldier field? Easy enough, I'll look at the sched! HA!The cool thing is if they lose 3 in a row they are not only probably out of the division race, as we will have the tie breaker since they will have lost more than us in the division (if we beat Ravens and Browns again). They could lose 4 in a row since they play the Bears after us...but not likely. And maybe even out of the wildcard race since it will probably come down to them and the Jaguars and the Jags hold the tie-breaker over them too.If that's the case we may be playing the Pats, Chargers, or Jags in the first round (assuming the Colts and Denver have byes)...I don't think the Chiefs have a chance and the Steelers are more likely to be the Wild Card than the Chargers.Cowhers scowl makes me howl in delight.Hey Big O, sure is nice having those wins AT CLE and AT BALT, huh? Wins on the road in the division are ALWAYS huge.... Quote
turningpoint Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 It's in pitt, but Bears D can play anywhere....the crowd doesn't slow down defense.Panthers are a carbon copy of the steelers. Quote
Jet23 Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Has anyone else heard grumblings that Big Ben's knee may be more serious than the Steelers are letting on? That would be a huge blow to the Steel City. Quote
turningpoint Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I hope not, seriously think the bengals smack them in the mouth....with or with out ben in the game. Quote
Ox Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Please please PLEASE let Rothel be in the game on the 4th. I don't know if I can tolerate a Bengal W without him in the lineup, then only to hear how that's the only reason they lost.BLAH. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I think the bengals should be PO'ed about the Colts loss, esp. their defense. If you read in the enquirer this morning DT Bryan Robinson called the loss "embarassing". When you score 37 points and you loose it kind of is, but maybe he and the rest of the defense should PLAY BETTER! Expect us to against Baltimore and Pitt. Quote
turningpoint Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 exactly i sure as f**k wouldn;t want to play the bengals after loseing a game like that...Kyle bollere is going to be raped...I seriously see a 5 int performance, but this time the bengals score a ton....i' looking forward to a 45-10 game. No way. No how.I disagree. The Bengals just showed everyone in the league how to beat Indi. I can see Hines Ward having a huge game and they actually have and use a TE. BUT if Maddox is the QB, it won't happen. Every time I see him, I think how good we have it at back up QB. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Big Ben will be expected to go Next Monday.... Quote
steelwarrior Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 If we have to play with Tommy "man I sure wish this season was over" maddox. I am sure I will be in bed by 10:00. BUT, if we get to go with Ben, and we get back a couple more starters, we can hang with anyone in the league. Do I think Ben is the best QB in the league h**l no, but the Kid knows how to win, and I don't think anyone can argue that point. Keep in mind we have won 10 out of the last 11 road games, It might be better odds for us to actually win on the road for this one.steelwarrior Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Finally, a steelers fan that realizes Big Ben didn't hang the moon Quote
kingwilly Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Well, if cowher does his homework, we gave him a blue-print as to how to score against Indy....wait, the squealers don't really have anyone at WR, so maybe that work. nveremind Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Steellers will beat the Colts.Cowher is a great coach cuz i hate the bengals(supposivly) Quote
Columbusbengal Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 The Bengals just showed everyone in the league how to beat Indi.Yep, you can beat them if you have Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, and two excellent running backs. .. AND a defense occasionally capable of stopping Peyton Manning and the Edge. Quote
