Hey don't be dissing Crowder. The Kid is a freak and is starting now for the dolphins. He has also been on ESPN's Monday Night Countdown's Jacked Up a quite a few times. I am happy with Odell, but it would of been sweet to have him and Crowder. Our Defensive would at least be a little bit better.

By my knowledge Odell only has 57 total tackles as well and has started every game....

Odell had a bad game last week and still misses many more opp's than he executes.

Jaws on ESPN just broke down that 3rd quarter drive vs the Colts after the 35-34 score, and every single play was of Odell missing a block read, over-pursuing, failing to cover a RB out of the backfield, or simply not getting to the QB despite being unblocked up the middle. Every single play he failed to make anything happen and the Colts almost seemed to be taking advantage of him purposely.

Odell is flashy but he's hardly consistent yet (very far from it) nor does he seem to be improving, same with all the LB's here really.

Odell has to play smarter if he wants to be a pro bowl type or in the class of those guys some day.

I hope that will come and that he puts on some muscle, because if he works hard enough he can be truly great. So far, he's struggling more than people realize.

oops and to add another thing, for various reasons, he has no protection upfront at all in the Bengals' scheme - sending 3 guys in down stances and dropping one off and expecting Odell to bust a RB up the middle is just stupid (the goaline defense for Edge's td on that drive for instance). Also the Bengals often go straight up with and rush just their front 4 too often it seems, it's too vanilla and predictable.

One play the WR was pointing out Ratliff blitzing before the snap, plain as day the Bengals don't disguise anything.

I don't really understand the game planning and schemes Bresh is using, and realize he's got a tough task of things here right now, but what he's doing is not working, this game was just the icing on the cake.

Get Odell's head out of his a$$ and start being more complex I guess.

I think we should focus on Def this year! #1 pick should be a DB! Thay got schooled yesterday. Plus, when we got an INT, they let Payton tackle them. Fix our Def line too. They haven't stopped any RB this year.

The #1 priority is defensive linemen. As bad as they looked yesterday, I believe we're in good shape in the defensive backfield. They could use work, but who couldn't. Not to mention our best defensive back has been out for the year....Madeiu Williams. We gotta focus on the run defense.

I would have to pass on Carpenter. That ankle seems to be pretty gimpy and a fast linebacker with a bad wheel helps no one. Too bad too, I really like him.
