Exactly what I expected. Every team not named the Colts has teams pass them in the rankings after a bye... and with impressive wins from the Seahawks and Panthers, it's kind of hard to argue with.

CBS has us at 5th though

I think it is high time people stop ranking the Broncos at number two. They are a good football team, but I can't see why everyone places them above the likes of the Steelers.

My Top Ten rounds out like this:

1.) Colts

2.) Steelers

3.) Panthers

4.) Bengals

5.) Seahawks

6.) Broncos

7.) Falcons

8.) Cowboys

9.) Jaguars

10.) Chargers

I think the panthers should be number one, they are going to take it all this year. Just my two cents.

Ditka still love 'em. He has the Bengals ranked #4. Meanwhile, Eric Allen still slights 'em, leaving them off a list that just added the Seahawks at #2.

The Colts. We won't ever have that spot unless the Colts collapse and we beat both them and the Steelers.

Not with that loss at home we wont, If the colts fall to us and the steelers, pitt will be number one!

I disagree. I think Indy will be number one until they have at least two losses under their belts, if that even happens. Of course, other teams at 7-2 will have to win games accordingly to take the spot.

These are the Fox rankings. They seem a little wacky, but whatever.

Fox uses the profootballl outsiders DVOA system...which is a pretty good system IMHO if you're into stat-based systems. Column definitey has some interesting things to say about the Colts, tho...definitely worth a read. Bottom line: funny how they're the ones with the weaker schedule, yet we're the ones who haven't played anyone...

I like the foxsports rankings too...they aren't perfect, but they seem to be a better predictor than human power rankings.
