NYBengalfan Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 Once again Joe "CRACK!!! oh s**t, I broke my leg" Theismann picks against the Bengals. now I just expect it, when we play the Browns again, I wouldnt be surprised if he picks the Browns. Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 I was reading an interesting article today and when I went back to look for it I couldn't find it. Anyways, it goes on to say how the team that loses the Monday night game loses their next game 80% of the time and the team who wins often wins the next week too. No relevance, just thought I'd share it Quote
NYBengalfan Posted November 3, 2005 Author Report Posted November 3, 2005 That quite ineresting, I never noticed that trend, I guess we were that 20% that lost after an MNF win last year. Quote
Stripes Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 Joe Theismann picked the Redskins to make it to the superbowl. There you have it. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 Yes, not everyone is going to pick the Bengals' to win every week.As if he's whacked out of his brain for not doing so.I would have a hard time deciding who to pick if I had to put $ on it.The Ravens might be 2-5 and w/o Reed, Lewis or Boller, but this would still be a "respect" win. Going into Monday night I believe they had the #3 defense. And you know what Lewis and even Chester (last year) do to our team regularly. This could be a chance to show some improvement after going .500 the last month and not looking very impressive doing it. Quote
NYBengalfan Posted November 3, 2005 Author Report Posted November 3, 2005 its not that, JT never picks the Bengals. He is just a hater, who does not like them, the only times he picked them to win was against GB,CLE, and HOU he' is clearly a moron. If he picks honestly then I wouldnt care, he picked Washington to go to the SuperBowl, he's no expert, he's a Homer with a Microphone. Hell I cold do his job. Quote
turningpoint Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 The way the ravens played the steelers on Monday night, and the way the steelers played us, i think it's fair to pick against us.We all know were going to win, but the national perspective on us is that we can only beat crappy teams. While the ravens are a crappy team, they look to be turning it around.if they lose this game they know their season is over, so they might be playing for something here.
