JaxonFord87
I have lived in Green Bay all of my life. Based on what i've seen this season, there is almost no way the packers could beat us. Green is out, Walker is out, Ferguson is out, and in my opinion, this will probably be brett's last year. As far as Al Harris being one of the best shutdown corners, i think that he is not the best, but can be very good at times. Chad should not take him lightly, otherwise he won't get anywhere. I predict a very easy game for the bengals, as long as the don't take the packers too lightly. My Final Prediction:Bengals 31 Packers
BengalszoneBilly
Seeing as how the Packers really have no running game, I'll have to agree it's highly doubtful even the great Brett Farve (who I have the upmost respect for) will be able to win this one for them! schweinhart
How bad are the Packers really?4 of their losses have been by a combined 9 points, including a 1 pt loss to the 5-1 Bucs and a 3 pt last minute comeback win by the 4-2 Panthers.Granted, the Packers are mired by injury at RB and WR and they lack the quality O-line when they had Andruzzi and Rivera in the interior, but short field weapons are still there. Driver is on his way to his 3rd 1,000-yd+ receiving year out of the past 4, they have 3 TEs who can all catch short and up the seam, and their 3rd string RB is an excellent receiver as is their FB. Add to that a short, fast WR in Antonio Chatham and a 3rd WR who was with them in the pre-season, and the threat to move the ball without running it is still there.I would be surprised if Favre doesn't throw 50 times and connect a lot more than he misses. They'll shorten the field w/ TE sets and maybe even Fisher in the slot. The WRs should be looking at lot of crosses and quick slants. Even though this plays into the relative strength on defense that the Bengals have, it will be hard for the LBs to stop the TEs and RBsThe Packers are giving up just less than 20 points per game. Their defense is fast at LB, especially weakside w/ the addition of Robert Thomas who played MLB w/ the Rams. Barnett is a relentess pursuer and tackler in the middle. But Rudi running should exploit their D-line, and their secondary stands no chance vs. Bengals receivers. The key to this game IMO is simplicity in the offensive game plan. Run Rudi. Throw vertical to Chad and underneath to Housh. That's 90-percent of what the Bengals need to move the ball at will. Very little Chris Henry. Very little Chris Perry. Just win the game and lay off the needless plethora of plays. If the Bengals do that, it should be more than enough to win.Bengals 27Packers

kingwilly
Nice take schweiny. I think we will see quite a bit of C.Perry, though. This beatdown will be in the same vein as the other NFC Norse victims so far:Cin - 41 GB -
schweinhart
Proly will see Chris Perry. But I say use him only for passing situations. They will be tempted to use him running since Perry has had success vs. 4-3 teams unlike the 3 3-4 teams the Bengals have faced where he's had 12 carries for 18 yards.Run Rudi Run

With his nature, I wouldn't think he would leave on these terms. He's still got that arm, and I would like to see him end his career in the playoffs, next year. PMThor
"Favre goes back to pass....yet another interception for the agressive Bengal defensive backfield."I think we will hear that at least twice tomorrow. Why? Don't really have to worry ahem, ahem, worry about the rush, and he is basically their only option. Plus we should be really pissed off with last weeks performance and come out possessed. C.Perry should get more touches, Hell he has shown flashes of great open field elusiveness, although I doubt it will happen, since Rudi should just pound and pound, and we don't need to be too cutesey about the game plan. Bengals 27 Favre 13.
boomerman
Are you all aware that the Packers have ourscored their opponents 144 to 118 and are 1-5! I'm not saying they're a good team, but that's one of the most amazing stats I've ever seen.

They have only lost close games, and that 52-3 win over the Saints will cause that to happen.
