Hey media! Kick them while you can!

Maybe we stop the run this year and maybe we don't. We will make the playoffs though, and that is the first step of a dynasty. I remember Dallas finally making the playoffs. Detroit killed them. We know the rest. Green Bay was having a hard time getting by Dallas, but they finally did. So pile up media, because the Bengals are building something special, and I will always remind them how they were when they were coming up, because they are going to be on their nuts for the next 10 years. This team has one hell of a nucleus, and they will be around for a while.

I don't worry about the national media. They don';t follow us as closely and the bengals are synonomous with losing, so they look for any reason to say our winning is fake. The colts have had it easy, but they've won the last few years, so there great in the eyes of the media. The Colts finally got a defense. Hell, the media pimped that D after the first game of the year, against.....drum roll please....the Ravens. Oh yeah, they also played the niners and the texans. Tough schedule

Yeah i don't really understand the obsession with the media - who cares?

Indy's defense - they have some great players and probably the most dominating DE in the game in Freeney. Raegor and Tripplett are more than solid at DT and Cato June is a stud at LB, and Doss has done well at safety etc.., etc..,

So that is why their defense gets instant recognition if nothing else.

There is no one on the Bengals' team upfront that can come close to matching that, the talent level isn't there.

Can you imagine Levi trying to block Freeney? ha! what a joke that'll be unless they double team him all day long.

If I see one more Bengal 0-lineman get knocked on his keister this year I'm gonna puke. Palmer has taken some real shots this year - and I mean he has gotten hit HARD at least once or twice a game.

The Bengals need serious help on the 0 and D lines, serious help there if they want to be this "Dynasty" you speak of. Until I see Marvin go out and do what's necesary to upgrade those areas - everyone will continue to question them.

I am not even confident yet this team can beat Green Bay Sunday, or teams like Detroit and Baltimore on the road yet.

This bunch baloney about the Bengals being some sort of dominant team or AFC front-runner means nothing 7 weeks into the season with only sub-500 teams as W's.

They still need to prove a lot - so anyone who blames the media for daring to question the dominance of the Bengals' is just being silly.

It's the same thing on our board. Every time another player or team gets credit form the media someone cries about it. It's sad really. The last time I checked Chris Berman didn't decide who won the Super bowl. The only team I am tired of hearing about is New England. They have earned the right to be respected for what they have done the last four years. This year they don't scare anyone. With the season ending injuries they have they have no chance of beating a good offensive team come playoff time. We'll see what the Colt's D is made of in a few weeks on Monday night too. Here's hoping we're both relatively healthy when we play again.
