skyline
Meh, whatever. We were patted down on the way into the Titans game last weekend, and I didn't think anything about it. It's so common these days, that you don't even bat an eye.And really, what's the big deal? I'm not trying to sneak anything in, so why should I care? Kirkendall
And really, what's the big deal? I'm not trying to sneak anything in, so why should I care?My problem is that this has nothing to do with security -- if it were I wouldn't complain. But this is the NFL forcing you to purchase everything in their stadium. Pat downs are for merchandise. That's BS. So now everyone is getting prodded with a plastic glove so you can buy their stuff. Total BS.
Bengals_12th_man
I wonder if this verbage is included with my COA or on the ticket? I really don't like the idea of some guy groping me like a criminal.

Kirkendall
Furthermore, they aren't padding down below the waist which means if you wanted to take a bomb, or a gun just put it on your ankle and you should be ready to go. Security my ass. What a farce. You'll get touched in naughty places by someone because the NFL wants you to buy their crap inside. However, when the Browns come to town, anyone wearing their jerseys should be given a rectal exam. JMO.

At the Titans game the guy actually asked me if I had any knives on me! Uh, yes...I do have a knife, thanks for asking...

jungleman
the patdown is bs it is unconstitutional. we own the stadium as taxpayers and it is illegal to search us. this is garbage.

Maybe it is some kind of infringement on our rights. My only question is so what? It doesn't take them more than 10 seconds, and they don't pat anything you wouldn't want patted. It's not a big deal. It's not a big deal.10 seconds? Yeah for one fan. But multiply that by 65,000 and you are looking at a lot of time. I'm not going to get into whether it is right or wrong and whatnot. But I will say this. Get there way early. The first time they do patdowns, there are going to be some issues. The powers that be say to get there an hour to an hour and a half ahead of time. I say look at two hours just in case, maybe more. Too bad for tailgating, but you don't want to miss that Carson to CJ touchdown on the third play now, do you?
