Kazkal
Says were for real now! Cincinnati Is For RealCarson Palmer has found his groove. He doesn't take sacks, he throws for 250 yards or so, and he distributes the ball all around the offense, thus keeping every player happy. But the defense should not be overlooked. The unit is taking the ball away every game, getting multiple sacks every game, and making a clear statement that the Bengals are a team that will be there come playoff time. If you run the ball on offense and stop the run on defense, you are going to win games. Cincinnati is doing both of these things and doing them well. The Other Undefeateds * Tampa Bay: The Bucs are undefeated, but I still don't see them as a top team. Brian Griese had four turnovers in the game, yet Detroit was only able to score 13 points off them. That is pretty lucky for Tampa Bay. (It also shows how bad Detroit is, but that's another story.) * Washington: Joe Gibbs didn't win three Super Bowls without being a great evaluator of talent. He clearly saw something in Mark Brunell that no one else did, and he was right. * Indianapolis: Finally, Peyton Manning had one of his typical games of last year, throwing four touchdowns against Tennessee. They are one of, if not the, top teams in the AFC. They could be playing for homefield advantage in the playoffs by the end of the season. BengalsOwn
I believe we had a couple on Daunte.I think you're right. That's still 2 games out of 4 without a single sack, right?
BengalsOwn
PS. Not that I really care about our lack of sacks, we intercepted the ball instead which is much better than a sack. I just hate uninformed sports reporters, who are making at least 6 figures a year to write this garbage, or say their garbage on TV.

I agree with you to some extent, but you have to cut them some slack. We focus primarily on the Bengals, but it's their job to know what's going on with EVERY team in the NFL. Since there's no way they have time to watch every game, every week, that can be a pretty difficult job from time to time.
bengalboomer7
Not only that, but if guys don't take different sides and throw out different opinions the pregame and post game shows wouldn't be worth watching. It's his job to go out on a limb.

kingwilly
Bullcrap about cutting them some slack. That is why you have editors and fact checkers. In a profession driven by sensationalism and statistics you'd better be on your game. I put his mistake on the editors.
