Yes, the Bengals can beat Pitt. Let's not forget that neither of the Pitt games was exactly a Steelers blowout. The first was a 28-17 loss that turned on Polamalu's pick, the second a 19-14 loss that featured some bad calls by the officials and mistakes caused by Palmer's inexperience (including a safety). I'm not saying a Bengals victory is a lock...but we can take 'em. :bengal:

That 19 to 14 loss that we took was one that we should have won. That's why the coach chewed everybody out for the entire week afterwards. The Steelers won the game and I won't take anything away from them ... BUT .... they didn't beat us ... we beat ourselves.

At this point of development, I think the Bengals can play with any team in the NFL ... no exceptions. Now that's not the same as saying we'd win all the games, but unlike past years ... I don't think that there's a team out there that you could point to and say " we have no chance of beating these guys ".

Exactly. Mr. Lewis has put together a team that can hang with the toughest of boys and they will do it all year long. I'm thinking they could go 7-1 or 8-0 at home this year cuz the Jungle is rockin, and maybe that means beating the Steelers.

Also, I'd like to issue a complaint about these smileys. Some of them promote drinking, and I think that's wrong. Drinking is bad for your health. ;)

Wow, I just looked at these for the first time, and they're amazing!

:soccer::sperm::crack: ...OK I'll stop.

Anyone notice that all the steeler fans they are showing during the Steeler game today look like they were transplanted from a soccer hooligan bar in edinbough?

I think that its ery possible that we take one away from the steelers this year especially at home due to the atmosphere there that has developed. Anyone notice that the attendence figures from the abismal 90's compared to the last couple years? there was only an average difference of 10,000 between the periods. We must be loyal folk or into S + M to attend like that during the dark ages.

ok, two things. We can definately beat Pitts in the Jungle, on the road will be tougher, but it can be done. And where can I get these smilies? I know from the smilies at the left, but is there a way to download them so I can use them elsewhere?

Individually copy them and save them on your computer.
