rizzy
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...whitlock/0509223. It's way too early to jump on the 2-0 Bengals' bandwagon. We're talking about the Cincinnati Bengals. Anybody foolish enough to believe right now that what we're seeing from Carson Palmer is the real thing deserves to have his/her heart broken. I'm not predicting doom for Palmer. I'm just saying it's much too early to be predicting success. Do not reach any conclusions about the Bengals until Week 10.If i saw him on the street I would punch him in the face.

He always bashes the teams with the checkered pasts, and only gets on his knees for teams like the Pats. He will never give anyone the benefit of the doubt. He stays pretty consistent bashing Chicago as well.
HoosierCat
He's trolling, talking-head-style. Sheesh, how many stories have there been about how Carson has a 100+ rating in his last five games? Of that we have all our offensive starters back from an offense that rang up beaucoup points last year?Jacka**.
Stripes
Screw him.You can tell that he is obviously very arrogant, so when our Bengals are frontrunners for a playoff berth later this year, we can all grin when he claims he told us so. I guess he didn't get enough love from mommy and daddy as a kid.I wonder what his friggin excuse was after the perennial losers, the Buccaneers, won the Super Bowl.D*ck. BengalByTheBay
He's right of course -- that's the beauty of writing something like "don't reach any conclusions until week 10" -- you could say that about any team and be right. With all of the overreaction the other way in the past few days there's bound to be some guy trying to stir things up by saying the Bengals might not be as good as everybody else says. Looks like it works here at least. He's hedged everything he says so that he's right no matter what happens...and he gets paid to write that meaningless bs??
