I've never been one to get too mad at the media, I mean come on, with 32 teams, I always knew until we proved we were the real deal, we'd get overlooked.

Anyways, I've seen mre s**t in the past few days than I can even process. Sean Salisbury has repeatidly, (including tonight's sportscenter) said that he thinks the best offense in the NFL is ours. Also, an NFL show was on tonight but I was at work so it was muted, they talked about last weeks game all the way until the next commercial break. It's only game 2, if we kee it up, the decision will be 2 or 3 monday night games at PBS!!!

Our kind of team is what people want to watch. Young, energetic, productive and produces big plays.

So indredibly excited for this season!!!

They just showed Chad talking to Mike Brown on sportscenter, then he had them zoom in on his list of cornerbacks he plays in the season and there are check marks for yes or no as to whether or not they could cover him. Geez, I can't get enough of this. I just hope the guys keep it in perspective!

If Chad had even one checked "yes," I'd be shocked.

I actually think THIS game will be our biggest test until Pittsburgh. We'll be ready to play for Jacksonville because no matter what the players are telling the media, YOU KNOW they'll respect that team (especially if they have a decent record). Regardless of Chicago's quality as a team, I am most interested to see how the Bengals COME OFF A BIG WIN. They can tell us how focused they are and that 2-0 doesn't mean anything, but I'll believe it when I see it. I love Chad, but Sportcenter had an unbelievable stat last night. After the five games in which he had 100+ yards last season, he followed with another 100 yarder only once (in a winning effort). The rest of the performances were dismal and the team lost all of them.

I was thrilled with the Game of the Week and seeing the friendship and comraderie on the team, especially the lightheartedness that Chad brings to it (his mini-tempers when Carson overthrows him has me worried, but watching those two lock heads and talk after leaves me no doubt that he's just a fierce competitor). If, as was evident last night on that show, these guys make perfection and execution their goal, then we really have nothing to worry about.

The Chicago game will tell the tale and let us know if these guys are ready to join the elite... Please god, please...

And I think one of the biggest keys is Marvin. It took a few years to change the psychology. But I think now he has these guys knowing that you have to come back and pay attention to the mistakes. He's not going to let these guys show up this week for practice f---ing around cause they blew out minnesota. I think he's instilled a complete winning mentality and he's got Carson to keep it in perspective too with his leadership!!!

I'm not too worried!!

Yeah, that probably explains on some level Palmer's tendency to underthrow. Personally, I'd prefer an overthrow, because it's less likely to get picked off, but Palmer have to watch my temper tantrum.

that is... he DOESN'T have to watch my temper tantrum.

Chad Johnson is hilarious! About the respect issue though....I really don't want this team to get respected...I'd like them to be the underdog all season and just stay hungry and motivated. The game against the Bears will be close but we will beat them on the outside with a big play or two and wrap the game up.
