derekshank Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 I know that because of schedule that the Bengals could go a long time wihtout a loss, but could we be the longest to last undefeated this year?I don't expect the Giants to outlast us.Dallas plays the 49ers next week, but then plays @ Oak, and then against Philly. The Chiefs are for real, but are at Denver next week, then a bye, and play Philly the week after.Pittsburgh also has a rough schedule ahead with NE, and Jacksonville, before playing us in Cincy. (they do have a week 4 bye though)Tampa has GB and Detroit with their next 2, but then have a fairly tough one away at NYJ.The Colts next 3 opponents are the Browns, the Titans, and the 49ers. That is 5-0 for sure. Then they play St. Louis and Houston. A very possible 7-0 before their bye week.I think we have a shot at it, but the Colts certainly have the schedule to go the longest at this point. Quote
CBin2k7 Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 I pick Colts also, favorable schedule. Quote

derekshank Posted September 20, 2005 Author Report Posted September 20, 2005 The Bengals really do havea chance at this. Most of us agree that 4-0 is probable heading into Jacksonville.Leftwich is getting killed out there, so if we come away with a win in that game we then have Tennessee, Pittsburgh in Cincy, then GB in CincyIt seems ridiculous to think that we would iwn all of those... but most of us see that Pittsburgh game as a must win if we want to win the division... and other than that, the schedule could be pretty light. That would be 8-0...Hold up. Still way too early to get my hopes up that much. It's fun to dream though. Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Oopsie. Didn't see there was already a poll asking this. Great mind think alike, no? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Dallas plays the 49ers next week, but then plays @ Oak, and then against Philly. Well incredibly you can scratch Dallas. They just took it in the shorts at home! I think we have a shot at it, but the Colts certainly have the schedule to go the longest at this point. No argument there, but you never know... Quote
