redsbengalsbucks
Practice for when it matters? Tice being the controlling coach and telling his players that you never say die?Who knows.
The_Next_Big_Thing
Why did they call time outs and actually have Marvin Lewis shaking his head on the sideline laughing at them?Because Tice wants to keep his job, and frankly when his QB turns into a joke, it's not ALL his fault... San Antonio Bengal
Well, it was a good time to practice and to prove that it was possible to have Dante throw a ball that could be caught in the endzone by someone not named Deltha. Kirkendall
did they go for a two point conversion???i really did not get it!! Or the timeouts taken in the final 2 minutes of the game?
Bobcat Bengal
The announcers mentioned that it gives your team the impression that you are not gonna lay down. Its something to be said for Tice not quitting and at LEAST send that same message to his team.
Stripes
It's just the never say quit mentality. They were embarassed all game long, so why not at least make a push for a few more points (hence the two point conversion and late timeouts.)I'd have done the same under the same circumstances. membengal
The o/u was 47.5.I'm not sayin'...I'm just sayin'...We do know that Tice likes to supplement his income and all. Did he have the over?

Did he have the over? But we beat them 37-8, which is only 45. So either he had a more favorable line, or he's...not betting on the games? Yes, but going for two, and then calling all those lame timeouts to apparently try and get the ball back leads one to wonder if he was going for a figgie...which would have given him the over. And, if it is not clear, I am NOT seriously alleging that he bet the over on that game, but it is interesting to note that going for two made it 45 and with a field goal from one of the teams of making the over.Side note, damn those Vegas boyz are good when they set these o/u lines... BengalPappaw
did they go for a two point conversion???i really did not get it!! IMO the reason that Tice went for two points is because the Bengals kicked a field goal when the game was already out of reach. I don't really care! -- but I thought this was at least one possibility.
