His best one was when he threw a wet towel on somebody when they were in the bathroom, right over the top of the stall. That was a good one.

A great tidbit of his Pulitzer material!

Awesome.

Mr. Johnson, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

It was not supposed to be an award winning novel!! It was written in diary form, geez people need to lighten up a little.

No kidding. Apparently we have some perfect people posting here. I thought it was a good read. And it was indeed in diary form. Obviously that escaped the grasp of some posters in this thread.

The resident Einsteins, bengalindian and wittbengal, are now officially being watched. Every time one of you guys make a spelling error, a grammatical mistake or a typo, I hope someone calls you out and ridicules you.

Rudi sounds like a genuinely nice guy. He's not going to solve world problems anytime soon, then again, neither are any of us.

Auburn has a history of football players who basically can't read or write. James Brooks has said he is illiterate. If you've ever heard Bo Jackson speak, it is pretty clear he has his own challenges. Rdui may be one of the brightest Auburn RB's in quite some time.

Let me see...people here are attacking the intelligence of Rudi?

Let me ask you this...who makes more money, you or Rudi?

Who's the dumb one now?

I never attacked Rudi, but I will gladly attack your post:

1) Making money has nothing to do with intelligence (unless you want to throw in the fact that there are different types of intelligence...).

2) Not all of us consider the amount of money one makes a means by which to judge.

3) Did you just call yourself dumb?

Good grief y'all. This thread was created to discuss Rudi's diary. Let's bring it back to that. No need to bicker!

I did say it was a good read; I'd even call it informative. It was obviously not an example of top of the line writing ability, but it was a good read.

Rudi does seem like the ultimate "nice guy." Kind of makes his offseason threats to sit out the year because of the franchise tag seem out of character. Then again, he thought he was getting ripped off, it is understandable...especially when he decided to play.

Rock on Rudi.

Some people need to get over themselves when they read something that may not meet their standards. I read the article and it was entertaining to read about who the jokesters are in the NFL and the things they do to keep things loose. That is the message Rudi is sending. Keeping things loose. For people like us to critique his work and assail him for it is nuts. Who are we to judge the man by a simple writing. So, enjoy the article and the message it sends, and quit being critical of the writing style.

Noone is really attacking him. BengalIndians post is actually from an Adam Sandler movie.

It was a fun little read. "Not twain material" but still a light take on the jokesters on a football team. It had a good message: Humor helps keep things real.

But I'll stop being "critical" and get over myself, as you say, when you stop sucking Rudi's D*ck.

I guess that shows my ignorance. I don't watch anything Adam Sandler is in as I think he and his movies are not very funny. So for me to recognize that it was a quote from one of his movies would have been miraculous. I felt the post was being critical of his writing abilities and not for the story Rudi was telling.

Now as far as s**king Rudi's d**k, did you really need to go that far? I don't think it was necessary.

I really don't give a rat's arse how Rudi writes, it's his running I concern myself with!
