bengalsfan4lifekf Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I say moss but i stil love chad, chad will be the best in a couple of years he is about to pass harrison Quote
Stripes Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Moss is having a better career through his first seven seasons than Jerry Rice did. He has to get the vote. Quote
NYBengalfan Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 As much as i love chad I have to go with Holt because he does his job and does not say a word. In the near future....maybe a year or two 7-11(CJ) will rule the NFL Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I go with Chad because while he talks smack, he works hard, and he doesn't hold out. Quote
mtmeece Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Could anyone see what looked like disgust on Moss's face durring his first game as a Raider. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Moss is an unlikeable jerk-off like Owens but those two are #'s 1 and 2 respectively IMO. Harrison has lost a step, but for a few years there he was the best in my mind during the late 90's and up til about 2002 or so.CJ probably fits in somewhere in the top 5, just not sure where. Still waiting for Chad to put some meat on his bones and become more of a complete receiver, even Moss has bulked up over time a bit.I think Chad would benefit greatly from having the leverage Owens does so he doesn't have to solely rely on quickness to get open or out of the blocks when he's bumped.Word to Chad - quit talkin' and eating McDonald's crap and start drinking protein shakes and adding lean muscle. When he does he'll be unstoppable like those 2. Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 i said harrison you get all the greatness as well as the lack of crazyness thats just me though Quote
staticx682000 Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Moss hands down and whats scary is he takes plays off....I prob would have went with chad but he has no yac....... Quote
7/11 Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 randy moss, with t.o. a close second...if you said chad, you're only a homer. when chad gets more YAC, he might be top-3, but he's still behind moss, t.o., harrison, holt and javon walker in my opinion. Quote
DesperateDerelict Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Do we factor in attitude and locker room presence. If not, it's Moss Man. If so, it's a tie between CJ & Holt. Quote
buck3y3d Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 I go with Chad because while he talks smack, he works hard, and he doesn't hold out. I think Chad could very easily hold out. Everything i hear is that next year Chad will probably hold out.Evidence:Sympathizes with TO (says he is underpaid, hard to believe 49 mil isn't enough)Has an agent (Rosenhause) were holding out is the normHe said he hasn't ruled out a hold out for next yearThese are all what ifs, but it would not suprise me at all to see Chad hold out. semiotter Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 I say there is to many good WRs in this leauge to pick one saying he is the best. Its like all the sport call in shows saying when Jerry Rice ret., who was the greatest Football player ever?? There is no answer... Quote
Kirkendall Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Harrison for me. Class still goes a long way (as in WR that will stay on same team, not bitch about contract, yada yada yada -- the greats play through the pains of rebuilding too and in that it redefines them) Quote
bengalfreek Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 If you're going by where they are at the same stage of their careers, the answer is Randy Moss. But if you're going by who is better now, T.O. hands down. Quote
John Stofa Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 I'm assuming we're talking about WR skills only, so I picked Randy Moss. Quote
John Stofa Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Harrison for me. Class still goes a long way (as in WR that will stay on same team, not bitch about contract, yada yada yada -- the greats play through the pains of rebuilding too and in that it redefines them) If class is one of the voting criteria then a couple of those guys shouldn't be on the list. OrangeStripes Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 I say moss but i stil love chadYea i would probably go with chad Quote
Jet23 Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Moss and Owens are 1 & 1A. Everyone else is playing for 2nd. I love Harrison's attitude, but imagine what Moss and Owens could do with Peyton chucking it their way. Harrison, Holt, Chad, Muhammad, S. Smith are all in the 2nd group. Quote
jditty47 Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 top 5 by impact:TOMossCJHarrisonHoltTop 5 by pure skill:TOCJHarrisonHoltMoss Quote
Who? Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Moss without a doubt, since he has been in this league he has been nothing but dominant, recording like 17 touchdowns in his rookie year or something like that. Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Here's my argument of why randy Moss is not the best WR in the NFL. And just to make sure, we are talking about "recievers" right. Moss just goes deep, he's the best at it, but that's all. Can't or Won't go over the middle, short or long. So, if we're talking "reciever" then I could make an argument for T.O, Harrison, and Holt, but not Chad.....yet. Quote
odellthurmanfan Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Much as I hate to admit it, TO followed by Moss and Holt. Harrison and Chad are on the same level I think, below the top 3. Quote
