Humanzee 5000
So I was serving tables at tthe restaurant I work at last night and I got a funny feeling inside (ha ha), I headed over to the bar to help clear some tables. When I looked up, I got weak in the knees. The holy one Marvin Lewis himself was at the bar enjoying dinner with his wife. Smiling, but looking serious, he even answered his cell phone once. Well, I went back to work as to not seem unprofessional. In the dining room, someone says, hey, look over there, it's Brian Simmons. I said s**t MAN, Marvin Lewis is in there. All of the sudden, Marvin Lewis comes walking into the dining room quite aggressivly. He heads over to Simmons with a big smile on his face. Simmons gets up, they shake hands and enjoy a laugh, the the ladies talk and Marvin Lewis shakes Mrs. Simmons' hand. He then talks to Brian Simmons' daughter for a few minutes. It was very cool, they were clearly enjoying themselves and I thought it was awsome that coach Lewis made it a point to come say hello to the family. THEN, THEN Marvin Lewis buys Brian Simmons' dinner. AWSOME. THEN, Brian Simmons asks the server to charge an extra 20 bucks onto his credit card, the server replies, "it's all been taken care of." Simmons replies, "I know, but here's a little extra. They were very friendly, low maintenance customers and the server got super fat tip.Great experience. Someone told me they're regulars so I better get used to it!
Bengal_Brad
AWESOME STORY!!!!!!Ok, now WHERE? lolThe closest I've ever come? Used to have a membership to "Ford's Fitness" in Florence KY (think it's changed names now). I was one time working out next to Boomer and Dave Remington. Actually helped to spot when Remington did leg presses (ever see a weight bar BEND?)Then again I used to be a bartender and served Dave Shula. He was very friendly and actually a pretty decent guy. Thanks for sharing the story

combatbengal
When I was a teenager I worked for Bob Evan's on Colrein. One day Pete Rose came in with a friend. He was very friendly. I didn't ask for an autograph but I did wish him luck with the next game. Another cool moment was when my Uncle and I went to a car show downtown. I saw Anthony Munoz there. He broguht his mother to the car show.
bengalindian
Yeah, my dad owns a gas station, and I usually help out when I'm home for the summer. Johnny Bench comes in there all the time, he even took advice from my dad on what type of SUV to buy. Also, once, I was working in the back, and I came out just as Pete Rose was leaving the store. It was pretty sweet to see the back of his head.

Green 66
Does anyone know if Marvin shops at Jungle Jims? I swear i saw him last year there the day after the snow storm before Christmas standing in line with the rest of the great unwashed masses. I am not 100% sure but if not theres another guy walking around who looks just like him. Still it would be nice to know that even Coach stands in line at the groceryMike GreenWaynesville Ohio
