7/11
i know this isn't in the right spot on the forum, but i didn't think anyone'd see it in the 'other sports' board. i saw a clip of stephon marbury speaking about how he's donating money to help relief efforts down south. didn't catch much of it...was wondering if anyone saw it and knows anything about why he was so upset. he cried throughout the whole thing. but i couldn't hear if he had family down there or what... redsbengalsbucks
I saw that this morning and it was so disturbing to watch I had to turn the station. I couldnt' even understand what he was saying most of the time he was crying so much, it is still disturbing to see a grown man cry.

Stripes
I'm not even sure he wanted to go on TV. Who would under those circumstances? The media decided to take advantage of the drama, at the expense of the seriousness of the situation and Marbury's dignity. Every day news seems to get worse down there.I feel like crap not being able to be of more assistance. I'll keep donating, but I wish there was more we all could do.
